Congrats to Billy Flynn (Chad, DAYS) who was selected as the performer of the week! Click here to learn more--->>
On last week’s Days of Our Lives, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) found his wife, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) bleeding in their bed. Flynn’s emotional performance was powerful and that’s an understatement. His horror and fear when he found her followed by his wailing were bone-chilling. His tearful goodbye with Abigail at the hospital was beyond heartbreaking. The denial that Chad lost his wife as EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) comforted him were touching scenes. When Chad returns home, he sees Abigail’s ghost. His vision of her is interrupted when the doorbell rings. Abigail encourages him to answer it, but Chad doesn’t want to. Flynn mastered these scenes as the viewer can sense that Chad desperately doesn’t want to answer the door as he, deep down, knows Abigail isn’t really there and that when he turns away, she will no longer be there. Chad is then filled with anger when Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) arrives and Chad demands answers for what happened to his wife. It pains Chad to go back to the crime scene, but he’s willing to do it if it means it’ll help catch Abigail’s murderer. Flynn also had intense scenes when Chad accuses Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) of murdering Abigail. Chad went through the gamut of emotions and Flynn did such a fantastic job. Bravo Flynn!
