General Hospital Promo: "The Stakes Are High And Everything Is On The Line!"

The voice-over for the promo says, “The stakes are high and everything is on the line”. 

The promo starts off with Trina’s trial and Joss is on the stand. There are quick shots of Carly, Portia, and Curtis watching the trial. The three of them look sad and concerned. Before the trial began, Joss found out that Spencer can be Trina’s alibi as she was with him in the cemetery when the revenge porn video was leaked. If that were to come out, Spencer will get in trouble because he broke out of Spring Ridge at the time. Joss cares about her best friend deeply and even though Trina asked her to not tell her and Spencer’s secret yet; will Joss wait it out? Depending on how heated things get in the courtroom, time will tell.

The next part of the promo briefly shows Trina crying as someone takes the stand. It could be while Joss and/or Cameron take the stand to vouch for her. Or will someone else surprise them all to take the stand on Trina’s behalf? 

The next part of the promo shows Nina visiting Sasha in the hospital and they both cry as they hug.  Nina will always care about Sasha despite Sasha initially lying about being her daughter. Nina saw Sasha’s meltdown on the Home and Heart show and so it appears Nina will follow up with her to see how she’s doing. Will Sasha confide in Nina about how much she’s been hurting and reeling since Liam passed away to the point that she started using drugs again? At the very least, Nina is clearly there to support her in any way she can.

The next part of the promo shows Joss saying on the stand, “I know who did this”. Even though there is no concrete proof yet, Joss firmly believes Esme is the one who recorded Joss and Cam having sex and then leaking the video. Will Joss be able to name Esme in court?   

The following part of the promo shows Spencer telling Esme, “Give me what I want”. They both look upset and frustrated with each other.  Spencer desperately wants to prove Trina’s innocence and it sounds like he’s finally ready to reveal his true motives to Esme. Will Spencer be successful or will Esme yet again come out of the situation unscathed?

The next part of the promo shows Britt telling Brad, “This is probably going to end in disaster”. Britt agreed to go on a date with Cody and she clearly already has doubts. Will Brad encourage Britt to see Cody anyway? He typically does have his best friend’s interest at heart, but he doesn’t know that Cody most likely has ulterior motives as the name Faison piqued his interest.

The last part of the promo shows Michael and Dex getting into a scuffle at the gym and then Brando interferes. Sonny and Dante are also present. The audience knows that Michael hired Dex to take down Sonny. Perhaps the two stage a fight so the family isn’t suspicious? Brando has already been skeptical of Dex and he is protective of Sonny and the rest of the family. Will Brando get to the root of things? Or will Brando go after Dex that Michael will be forced to reveal the truth?
