Easton Rocket Sweda (Leo Quartermaine, General Hospital) recently shared on Instagram that it has been one year since he started on General Hospital!
The following statement was shared in the caption of his video clip, "Today is my first anniversary at General Hospital! I want to thank @markteschner, @lisa.s.booth, @fvalentinigh and everyone at GH for creating the Autism storyline and believing I could be Leo".
In the video clip, Sweda says, "Hi! Today is my first year anniversary for General Hospital! That means a year ago on this day I was at General Hospital with the pool scene with my first line being "Dante, you're here!" He goes on to share that he refers to Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri, General Hospital) as T.O.M. (TV Mom) and that he's her Ton (TV son). He says that General Hospital is a really cool place and that everyone is sweet. He introduces his fans to his parakeet, Rebel in the video as well.
LoCicero commented on the post with, "What??? It feels like yesterday!! Time flies little man! So honored to be your T.O.M... (tv mom)!!! Here's to many many more!!"
Leo is Olivia Falconeri and Julian Jerome's (William DeVry) biological son. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) legally adopted him. Ned and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) were the first ones to notice signs that Leo has Autism. Sweda had shared on social media that he has Autism too. Sweda has been doing a phenomenal job on General Hospital.
