Drew Cheetwood who played Milo Giambetti on General Hospital for about 15 years is enjoying his life now in real estate. The former soap actor spoke with Social House News and talked about his soap career and his thriving life now as a real estate agent.
He noted, "Even though it's been four years since I was on 'General Hospital' on a regular basis, people still look at me sometimes like they know me from somewhere. A lot of the diehard soap fans start watching the show when they're five, so they remember a face when they see one." Cheetwood of course misses working on the soap and working with his brother, Derk Cheetwood who played Max Giambetti, he said, "I miss working with my brother, obviously, but as far as the lifestyle and living in LA, it was a little too fast-paced for raising a family. Now, we're close to my wife's family and we're only an hour's drive from Bowling Green, where my parents and sister still live. It's a perfect situation."
He added, "It was a super-cool job and I will always be grateful for it, but the time came for me and my brother (Derk Cheetwood moved to Nashville) to move on." Cheetwood also noted that he would be open to making a cameo on the ABC daytime drama, "The directors didn't kill off Milo, so you never know, But it would only be temporary. I love where I'm at now too much."
He also noted, "I’m so grateful to be here in Michigan with my family doing what I do for a living. Whether you know me as Milo, Magic Milo or Drew, thank you for your support & following along."
