Days of Our Lives' new home, Peacock gains over 2 million paid subscribers in Q3! Learn more here--->
NBC Universal recently reported that the company’s flagship streamer, Peacock, in the third quarter, added more than 2 million paid subscribers eclipsing a total of over 15 million subscribers, and active user accounts for the streamer are now at 30 million.
The company’s CEO, Jeff Shell, attributed the growth to several factors including Peacock’s reclaiming day-after-air rights to episodes of NBCU shows from Hulu and having day-after-air Bravo series, and past seasons of several popular NBCU programming available for streaming.
Shell also pointed out that Peacock has obtained sporting rights to the NFL, Premier League games, WWE, the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and Big Ten Conference games starting in 2023. Another added benefit is that customers can watch Universal Pictures films directly after their home-video windows.
We are glad to see the growth of Peacock and we hope the trend continues as of course, it is the new home for Days of Our Lives.
And we know that our soap family is also another big reason the streamer gained subscribers…Go Days fans!
