Tequan Richmond (ex-TJ Ashford, General Hospital) celebrates his birthday. Check it out here--->>>
Actor, Tequan Richmond is celebrating his 28th birthday today.
Richmond was born on October 30, 1992, to parents Temple Poteat and Anthony Richmond in Burlington, North Carolina, U.S.
Richmond moved to Los Angeles in 2001 with no intention of becoming an actor. He started his career at the age of nine doing spec commercials, to "get his feet wet." From there he moved on to real commercials including national ones. How exactly did a self-professed "shy" Tequan develop an interest in performing/acting at such a young age? School plays? A catchy commercial? A favorite TV show? Close. Tequan attributes it to The Temptations, their imagination in our recent interview with him.
He appeared in magazine ads such as Sports Illustrated, Reader's Digest, Newsweek, and National Geographic, as well as a national Nestlé print ad. Richmond had guest-starring roles on Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Private Practice, Detroit 1-8-7, Memphis Beat, Love That Girl and Numb3rs and more. He is also known in his music career as T-Rich. He is an American actor and rapper. Tequan is best known for his character, Drew Rock, on the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris. Richmond played Ray Charles, Jr. (son of singer/musician Ray Charles) in the motion picture Ray, and General Hospital's TJ Ashford.
Richmond received 3 consecutive Daytime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2015, 2016 and 2017 for his role on GH. He known plays the role of Bryson on Boomerang and Connor on The Unsettling,
