Today on The Young and the Restless, Jack is forced to come clean, Daniel and Summer share a difference of opinion, and Sharon helps Chance with some soul-searching.
It's morning in Genoa City. Phyllis runs into Jeremy Stark at Society. She walks over to and asks him what type of game he is playing. She suggests that he is either using Diane or that he has teamed up with Diane to work Jack. At the Abbott Mansion, Jack says they need to speed up things. Diane talks about setting up Jeremy.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon offers Chance more coffee. Sharon asks him while he's doing soul-searching if he has come to any conclusion. Diane agrees with Jack's suggestion and asks when do they start.
Sharon gives Chance some friendly advice. She encourages him to examine things on a much deeper level. Jeremy invites Phyllis to sit. He insinuates that he is up to something and offers to buy her breakfast. She tells him that he is not her target but Diane is. She notes that she wants to get Diane out of town and to see her pay for everything she's done. Diane calls Jeremy and asks to meet. He invites her to his suite and she agrees. Kyle comes down and sees Summer. They have a little disagreement before they say morning to Jack and Diane. Summer notices Diane has on the same clothes from yesterday and asks if she spent the night.
Stark says he has to go. Phyllis questions him about who he is going to meet and he advises her not to push it because he is a better friend to have than an enemy. Daniel meets with Phyllis at Society. Phyllis lets him know that the guy that was just leaving is the criminal that Diane has been in cahoots with. Daniel advises her to stop worrying about Diane. Back at the mansion, Jack confirms that Diane spent the night. He tells Kyle and Summer about their new plan that will end badly for Jeremy. Summer decides to leave to go to work and so does Kyle. Meanwhile, Jack and Diane are ready to take Jeremy down once and for all.
Sharon and Chance talk about careers. Phyllis notes to Daniel that she wants it all to stop and she tried. Phyllis takes a stroll down memory lane and tells Daniel about her relationship with Jack just before Diane came back to town. Phyllis tells Daniel she saw Jack and Diane kissing.
At the office, Kyle and Summer talk about what happened at home. She invites Kyle to go with her and Harrison to Paris. They argue a bit meanwhile Diane visits Jeremy and presents him with the stolen property. He wants to the story of how she came about Nikki's jewelry. Diane tells him the details. Jeremy notes that he is very impressed. He suggests they steal from the rest of the rich and powerful in Genoa City starting with Phyllis.
Daniel suggests his mother finds a way to tame her anger and then leaves as Tucker McCall comes in and asks Phyllis what's on her mind. Diane finds a way to get Jeremy to change his mind just before he suggests stealing from the Abbotts. He tells her to turn around because it's time for him to repay her for a job well done. He puts the necklace on her and says they need to seal this partnership with a kiss. Diane turns around and kisses him. Summer and Kyle argue at the office. Daniel walks in and wonders if a bomb just went off, Kyle leaves Daniel to talk with his sister.
Summer tells Daniel about her fights with Kyle. He brings up the subject of their mother. Phyllis asks Tucker a question making reference to the life of Diane Jenkins. Chance notes to Sharon that he doesn't want to live a life where stands to lose too much. She makes a suggestion about him going back to therapy and taking a leave of absence from the GCPD. Jack comes in and Chance gets a call from the Chicago Police Department.
Tucker tells Phyllis that her anger is going to eat her alive. Kyle returns as Daniel is leaving. He asks Summer about a comment she made to Daniel. Kyle gets a text from Victor. Jeremy is ready to make love to Diane. As they are making, Diane starts coughing and says she is allergic to his cologne. He decides to take a shower and Diane uses that opportunity to plant some evidence in his suite. Jack gets a text from Diane saying "All set".
