B&B Recap for February 20, 2023: Brooke Gets Flirty Attention from A New Man

In today's recap of The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke gets flirty attention from an unexpected source. Steffy and Finn put up boundaries with Thomas.

Finn suggests that Thomas leaves but Thomas doesn't agree because his son is upstairs. Steffy has her say but Thomas says that he doesn't need his sister telling him what to do. She can do that at the office but not when it comes to his son. 

Steffy reports to Finn after checking on Douglas. She claims that even on the job, she also witnessed some jealousy where her brother is concerned. Despite her love for her brother, she informs Finn that Douglas is depending on them and they can't let him down.

At home, Thomas reflects on some of the good times he had with his son. He looks at their picture and notes that they will get back to the way things should have always been.

Thomas asks if Douglas is upstairs and says he wants to go see him. Steffy tells him no because Douglas had a rough day. Finn brings up what Thomas did with the CPS call and the pain it caused his son. Thomas says he is so sorry for what he did. He hates that his whole family has ostracized him. Steffy begs her brother to respect the way things are because Douglas made this decision as a result of the position Thomas placed him in. Thomas begs his sister to help him and not come between him and his son. 

Brooke and Taylor are still at Il Giardino. They are wondering what to have for dessert. Paul steps over to the table and notes that Deacon told him to take care of them. Brooke gets a little bit of flirty attention from Paul which Taylor highlights. Taylor notes that Brooke has always followed her heart. Paul comes back to find out what they want for dessert. Brooke decides not to have dessert and hands him her card for payment for the lunch. Taylor asks him his name and when he leaves, she slightly suggests that Brooke should probably give Paul a chance. 

Brooke says she isn't prepared for a man in her life. She thinks that they are on the same page and that all she needs is her friendship with Taylor. Brooke reminds Taylor that her offer still stands for her to move in with her. Paul returns with Brooke's card. He says the card didn't print a receipt so she can give him her number so he can text it to her afterward. Taylor thinks he took the number for another reason but Brooke disagrees. Brooke gets a message with the receipt. She gets another text from Paul telling her that if she ever needs anything, she has his number.
