On today’s recap of General Hospital for February 28, 2023: Portia surprises Jordan, Ava is in a bind, Liz is grateful to Scott, Trina sticks to her guns, and Sasha offers support to Michael and Willow.




Trina tells Curtis she has nothing to say. Jordan gives Dante the search warrant for Spoon Island. Dante says that if Nik is there, they will find him. Jordan says with Liz’s testimony he will go away for a very long time. Liz is worried about what will happen to Nik and feels guilty over what happened to Britt. Finn sees Liesel at the hospital when she is awaiting test results. Nina wants to launch an appeal for a donor for Willow in Crimson. Willow makes a video for Michael about their wedding and how much she loves him. Ava and Austin get to Wyndemere and Austin tells her what he was thinking about after Heather hooked him. They talk about the PCPD and Ava tells him he knows what they have to do.







Trina invites Curtis in. Curtis tells her he wants to talk about him and her and where they go from here. Willow tells Michael she was thinking about their wedding. Wiley comes downstairs and tells Willow he found something, it’s the necklace that Nina gave her. Liesel says Scott is helping Liz with something mundane while Heather Webber gets away with murder. She says someone kept quiet about Esme and that is why her daughter is dead. Liz doesn’t know how she is going to face Liesel. Scott says she will be very upset but he can reason with her. Dante tells Jordan they are ready to search and Jordan says she is going to GH to talk to Austin.







Curtis tells Trina about his conversation with Marshall and wants to know where they go from here. Portia runs into Jordan at the hospital. Sasha comes over and offers to help with the wedding planning. She asks Willow what she can do and Willow asks her to get rid of the necklace. Liesel says she wants the key to Heather’s cell or 5 minutes alone with whoever hid Esme. After Nina takes Liesel to sit down Finn calls Scott. Austin suggests Ava leave Port Charles. She says Victor would find her and she would have to leave Avery behind. The PCPD knock at the door.





Curtis tells Trina he wants them to get a DNA test. Portia tells Jordan Austin checked out of GH and asks to talk to her privately. Sasha tells Willow that Nina has been good to her but she knows that is not true for everyone. Willow thanks her and tells her that she doesn’t want to waste the time she has left thinking about Nina. She needs help with the wedding and Sasha says she has her and tells her about the visit to Heather. Nina tells Liesel about the Crimson donor drive. Liesel tells her that she knows a possible donor. Finn tells Scott Liesel was asking about him. He goes to find her, and Finn asks Liz if she is ok. She feels guilty about turning on Nik. Dante tells the officers where to start searching. He tells Ava about Nik holding Esme and what they are looking for.






Trina tells him she doesn’t need a DNA test and that she has a dad who was always there for her. Jordan tells Portia that Curtis came to see her and told her what happened. Portia tells her that she was right when she tried to warn her. She says she is a coward and Jordan tells her that’s not true. After Willow goes upstairs Michael tells Sasha he wants her to have everything she wants for the wedding. He tells her that he wants what he can’t have, more time. Liesel tells Nina that she got tested and is waiting to hear if she is a match. Nina is overjoyed and thanks her. Liesel tells her that if she is a match, it will be sweet revenge on Carly. Ava acts surprised about what Nik and Liz did and says that must have been why Nik vanished. She says Esme was no saint but no one deserves to be locked in a tower. Dante asks her how she knows about the tower.






Ava tells Dante about Nik banning everyone from the tower. He gets a call and goes to check something out on the island. Trina wonders if it is fair to Taggert to not do the test. Curtis tells her he wants to know but won’t push. He asks what she wants to do. Jordan says Portia had valid reasons for keeping the secret. Portia tells Jordan she doesn’t know how to make things better. Sasha tells Michael she knows how he feels about losing Willow. He apologizes for not checking on her more. He tells her Willow wants to dance at their wedding but he worries it will be their last dance. Nina wants to put a rush on Liesel’s results but Liesel wants to know about Liz’s legal troubles. She questions why Scott is avoiding answering her question. Liz says she is thankful to Scott, but she is worried about word getting out. Ava tells Austin maybe she should take Avery and run so Victor doesn’t kill her. Dante calls Ava and asks her and Austin to come down to the tack room.






Trina says she doesn’t want the test. Curtis tells her he understands and to let him know if she changes her mind. Jordan tells Portia to not lose hope, that one day Curtis and Trina will see she was choosing family. Sasha covers and tells Willow that Michael is afraid of stepping on her toes at the reception, so she told him to take dancing lessons. She tells Michael to take care of Willow and she will take care of everything else. She takes the necklace with her when she leaves. Liesel wants to know what Liz did and Scott tells her it was Nik, not Liz. She questions him more and he tells her that Liz helped him even after they knew Esme wasn’t the killer. Liz thanks Finn for everything he did for her. He promises to stand by her no matter what. Liesel storms up to her angrily. Dante asks Ava about the locked door in the tack room. He gets a crowbar and starts to break the lock.
