In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for February 10, 2023, Victor makes waves at Jabot; Jack makes a shocking decision, Phyllis is forced to defend herself with Daniel and Adam makes a bold move.
The episode kicks off with Kyle and Jack arguing at Jabot. Kyle tells Jack that Adam doesn't belong there. Jack notes that Kyle has been lying to him for months all while Adam is outside the office listening in. Jack demands that Kyle tell him what the hell is going on. "You want me to say it?" Kyle asks Jack who says he wants the truth. "Okay, the truth is I have been working with Victor to get Adam out of Jabot," Kyle says, leaving Jack stunned. Summer catches Adam eavesdropping and asks him, "What do you think you're doing?" Adam admits to Summer that he is eavesdropping. Summer tells him to stop and get away from the door. Adam suggests going in to the meeting because it is a meeting about him. He encourages Summer to go in with him as well. Kyle and Victor continue arguing about him doing Victor's bidding.
At Newman Media, Victoria checks with Nate for an update on Audra working Tucker. Lily meets with Daniel at Society. Daniel informs Lily that his mother has gone too far this time and he is planning on firing her. Phyllis returns to town and runs into Tucker at the grand Phoenix. She argues with him about telling her son about her trip to Portugal despite her telling him to stay away from her son. He asks how was the trip but Phyllis walks off and tells him to go to hell. In the Lobby, Audra gets Tucker attention and they sit to talk. Audra suggests that one of them move out of the hotel so that their run-ins won't seem awkward anymore. Michael checks in with Victor. Victor gives him an update and Michael says that they really want to put the screws to Tucker.
Daniel opens up to Lily about his mother going behind his back. She notes that whatever he decides to do, she will totally support his decision. She wonders if he will be able to find a replacement for Phyllis on such short notice. Daniel asks about Mattie and Charlie. She says they are good and encourages him not to give up hope on reuniting with Lucy and Heather. Phyllis contacts Daniel and tells him about her return to town. She begs him to meet with her so she can explain face-to-face. Kyle notes that Victor was only working against Adam at Jabot to get him back at Newman and with the Newman family. Jack asks what is Victor's next plan. Adam and Summer walk in as Jack says it's not a good time but Adam says he knows what it's about and offers to help.
Nate updates Victoria. He thanks her for allowing him to join the meeting with her dad and Michael Baldwin. Tucker apologizes to Audra. Audra asks if it's possible they could be friends with benefits. They hash the terms of a possible friendship. Daniel pays Phyllis a visit. She apologizes. He asks her if she saw them and Phyllis says yes. Her update upsets Daniel and tells her that she was wrong to go behind his back to go see Heather and Lucy.
Audra returns to Newman Media. Victoria leaves to get back to work. Audra notes that she was able to arrange an accidental run-in with Tucker and she was able to convince him to be friends again. Daniel tells his mother to stay out of his business. Daniel fires her and storms out. Victor is ready for the challenge and tells Michael that he has never walked away from a fight and he will start now. Daniel returns to Lily and updates her on his meeting with his mother. He worries about the messages Heather got from his mother's visit. Lily shares that she refuses to let him give up on Lucy and Heather.
Kyle is sure that Victor doesn't have anything else planned. Jack advises him otherwise. Adam steps up, and he has his say in Kyle's favor. Victoria returns home and greets her father with an update. Adam announces that either Jack fires him or he will resign.
