Y&R Recap for February 17, 2023: Adam Gives Victor A Shocking Ultimatum

In today's The Young and the Restless recap for February 17, 2023, Victor puts Jeremy Stark on notice, Adam plots to undermine Victoria, and Phyllis shares surprising news with Jack.

 

At Society, Daniel, Lucy and Heather meet to have breakfast. Lucy is busy on her phone and ignores her parents. Heather says despite all that she is going through, it doesn't give her a right to be rude. Daniel begs to let it slide just this time since they don't have much time together. Phyllis comes into the restaurant and is surprised to see them all together. Phyllis asks what's for breakfast. Daniel is not happy to see his mother there. She notes that if Heather had told her about her visit to Genoa City, they could have traveled back from Portugal together. Daniel asks his mother to butt out. Heather decides to leave. Daniel offers to go back to the hotel with them and they leave. 

As they return to the hotel, Heather says she is going to leave and give Daniel and Lucy some time to talk. Daniel uses the opportunity to reconnect with his daughter. He apologizes for not being there and not being the father that she needed. 

Adam visits Jabot. Kyle is not too pleased to see him. He confronts him about his melodramatic swang-song. Adam informs him that he is just there to pick up his things. Adam reminds Kyle that Jack is a good man but on the other hand, Victor is not the kind of man to team up with and Adam walks away. Summer arrives at Jabot and sees her husband. He is very happy to see and is glad that she is talking to him. Adam passes by with his stuff and tells Summer that her husband was just doing what was best for the company. Adam leaves and Kyle asks Summer if Adam can forgive him, then why can't she. Summer and Kyle talk things over. Summer agrees to forgive him but she just needs a little bit of time. 

At Crimson Lights, Stark walks in to see Victor. Victor asks, "Do I know you?" Stark introduces himself saying Victor might recognize him from his mug shot. Immediately, Victor realizes he is Jeremy Stark. Victor wants to know how is he able to be walking the streets of Genoa City, a free mind. Stark notes that it's because Diane and Jack framed him. He wants to team up but Victor says not because they have similar enemies mean they should be working together against them. Stark decides to leave but Victor gives him a stern warning before he does. 

Adam visits the coffee house. He sees his father and walks over to him and reveals he quit his job at Jabot. Adam uses the opportunity to confront his father about plotting with Kyle to get him out of the company. Adam wants to know what's phase two of his father's plan. Adam says if he gives him Victoria's job then he will return to the fold. 

In the Abbott mansion, Jack and Diane are sitting in the living room talking about her moving in. As they kiss, Summer comes in and says good morning. She is not too pleasant but that's due to what's going on between her and Kyle. Diane notes how sorry her son is. Summer says she wants to forgive him but she's just not there yet. 

Jack and Diane go to Society and run into Phyllis. Jack wants them to move forward with little kindness. Phyllis asks him if he's kidding and storms out. On her way out, Phyllis sees Stark going in. On the inside, Stark startles Diane and Jack who want to know how is it possible that he is there. He offers to join them but Jack rebuffs. He informs them that he will be sticking around GC for a long while and walks out. On the outside, he sees Phyllis and asks her about how his run-in with Diane and Jack looked. He offers to team up again but Phyllis says no and walks off. Jack and Diane make plans to get rid of Jeremy for good this time.
