Y&R Recap for February 2, 2023: Guilty Kyle Hides the Truth

In today's The Young and the Restless recap for February 2, 2023, Victor’s plan to minimize a risk backfires, Nikki backs Diane into a corner, and Jack confronts Kyle about his deception.







Adam and Chelsea have a chat at Crimson Lights. He tells her about his father and having to watch his back at Jabot. Over at Society, it's Summer and Victor talking. He asks her about Harrison and brings up the subject of Diane Jenkins. At the Grand Phoenix, Diane runs into Nikki who is not happy to see her. Nikki confronts her about stealing her necklace and framing Jeremy Stark. And over Jabot, Kyle comes into the office and Jack asks to speak with him. Kyle assumes it's about Diane but Jack says no and confronts him about his alliance with Victor Newman. 





Kyle confirms that Victor did approach him for help but he didn't commit to anything specific. Summer begs Victor to stop pressing Kyle to help him with his mission against Adam. In his chat with Chelsea, Adam notes that he is not happy at Jabot. Kyle and Jack argue, and Kyle suggests it's time for Jack to cut Adam loose and fire him from Jabot.  

Chelsea poses a scenario and asks Adam if he would consider going back to Newman. Billy joins them with Connor and Johnny. Jack tells Kyle that he will not be firing Adam. He changes the conversation to Diane. Kyle warns his father to be careful and to protect himself. Nikki tells Diane that things will turn out ugly for her eventually. She calls it unfortunate that Jack got romantically involved with Diane again. Diane tells Nikki to get used to things and leave her and Jack alone before she storms out. 

At home, Jack reminisces about Diane. There's a knock at the door and it's Chance. He is there on official police business and brings a briefcase of money to Jack. Chance is suspicious and has a number of questions. Diane returns home and Jack informs her about Chance's visit. Diane shares with Jack about her run-in with Nikki. 

As Kyle remembers his conversation with Diane, Summer comes to the office and embraces him. Summer asks Kyle if he really turned Victor down just as Adam shows up. Nikki and Victor talk about her chat with Diane. Billy picks up Chelsea for their dinner date. Summer is convinced that Kyle lied about colluding with Victor after their talk with Adam.
