Y&R Recap for February 23, 2023: Billy Reveals His True Feelings for Chelsea

In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for February 23, 2023, Victor makes good on a promise, Kyle seeks forgiveness from Summer, and Jack helps Billy pursue a new opportunity.






At the Abbott Mansion, When Summer enters, she notices a love scene. Kyle enters with a rose and tells her that he had hoped she would have lunch with him. Summer and Kyle discuss eating lunch together. He begs Summer to just give him some time and is contrite. Someone texts Kyle. Kyle reveals that it is from Victor and Summer queries whether it is significant. Kyle and Summer have another argument about doing Victor's dirty job. Victor sends Kyle another text, saying that he wants to talk. Kyle phones Victor and informs him that his plan to harm Adam is no longer a priority. Kyle informs Summer that Victor is upholding his half of the bargain as he hangs up the phone.

Kyle's refusal to submit to her grandfather, according to Summer, makes her proud. After giving him a warning not to do it again, she gives him a kiss.

Nick being in Sally's apartment with her makes her happy. She describes what happened when she broke the momentous news to Adam. She mentions that he wanted to reconcile so that the child may have a family, but she rejected his request. They decide to hold off judgment till Adam recovers from his initial shock to see how he handles things. Sally worries about how Nick actually feels about Adam being the father of the child and continuing their relationship now that everything is out in the open. Nick laments the fact that Adam is the father of her child iss shattering. He had hoped the child would be his, but he is now more concerned with helping Sally.

Nick and Sally agree on their relationship. He says he has her back and whatever she thinks is best that is what he will do.

In Crimson Lights, Chelsea reminds Adam that he deserves happiness. She tries to figure out what could have Adam feeling down. She encourages him to let it all out and he decides to take a walk with her. Chelsea walks over to Billy and informs him that she is going on a walk with Adam because he needs someone to talk to. On their walk, Adam tells Chelsea that Sally is pregnant with his child. Chelsea reminds Adam of all the things that make him a good father. She tells him he can still have a beautiful family with Sally even with her relationship with Nick. 

In the park alone, Adam remembers his last time with Sally when they officially broke up.

At Jabot, Billy visits Jack. He notes that Jack would never hire him as his Co-CEO but Jack says that is not true because he seriously wanted the job, he would hire him. Billy assumes Jack is joking but Jack tells him no. He is actually ready to give Billy another chance at the job. Jack and Billy go to Society. Jack tells Billy about Jeremy Stark's return. He also tells him that Diane moved into the mansion. Billy reveals to his brother that he is starting to have feelings for Chelsea again. Billy tells Jack about Chelsea's dark period and attempted suicide. Jack encourages his brother to follow his heart. 

Jack tells Billy to give the job offer serious consideration as Billy leaves to go meet Chelsea.
