Y&R Recap for February 28, 2023: Adam Gets A Second Chance

In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for February 28, 2023, Victor gives Adam a second chance, Ashley turns the tables on Tucker, and Sally has a change of heart.






Devon tells Abby at Society how much better talking to her makes him feel. She says she feels the same way. Something about being around Devon makes her feel a lot calmer. They order dessert and decide to take him home so they could catch Dominic before he goes to bed. At home, Devon gets a call from Tucker asking if they could meet soon. Devon says no and hangs up the phone. Abby encourages Devon to reconsider and listen to what Tucker has to say. After much talking, the two make out and hit the sheets. Devon goes downstairs to get drinks for himself and Abby. He stares at the phone then picks it up and texts Tucker: "Coffee tomorrow morning. I'll give you 30 minutes."

Tucker processes Ashley's idea to sell to Devon than Newman. Ashley points out that doing this could fix his relationship with his son. Devon may lose the company he had with one father and gain another with another father. Tucker wonders if Ashley is trying to build fences with him and Devon or if she is just toying with him. Ashley notes that she is suggesting that he sells to Devon but she is demanding it now that she owns him. She advises that if he doesn't do it, he will wake up alone for the rest of his life filled with regrets. She tells him that failure is not an option. She notes that if he makes it happen then she would believe that he really wants to be a changed man. Tucker tells Ashley about the text from Devon and she advises him not to screw it up.

Nikki returns home. She is happy to see Victor and apologizes for being late. She fills him in on her day but he is a bit distracted. He notes that it's because of Adam. Victor tells Nikki about Adam's demands to return to the company. He also tells her of his plan to hand Tucker's company to Adam but notes that someone bought Tucker's debt before he could. They hash out the possibility of who it could be. Victor wonders if someone bought his debt to protect him. Nikki tells Victor that Ashley might be the one who wants to protect Tucker. 

Over in Sally's suite, she and Nick are in bed. As they are making out, there's a knock on the door. It's Adam who tells her they need to talk because it's important. Nick offers to get rid of him but Sally advises him not to. Sally opens the door to find out what Adam wants. He appears to be drunk but he tells her that he's not. He's had a few drinks but he's fine. He's just there to tell her a few things that she needs to hear. Adam asks Nick if it's fine. Nick says it's up to Sally to decide but if it was up to him, he would just shut the door in his face. Sally agrees to get dressed and meet Adam downstairs for the talk. Sally notes to Nick that she wants to hear Adam out. She is trying to be decent for the baby's sake.

Sally meets Adam in the Grand Phoenix lobby. He tells her that she doesn't have to worry about him, he is willing and ready to adapt. Sally compliments Adam noting that this has been the most grown-up she has ever seen him act. As they share a bit of laughter, Nick approaches and looks on. Sally asks Nick what's going on and he tells her about getting a call from Christian's nanny. She tells him that everything with Adam is going well. Nick leaves to go be with his son. Sally then tells Adam that she should go get some rest. 

Sally returns to her suite and gets a video call from Nick. He invites her to come to his place to spend the night. She turns him down noting that she is exhausted. 



Adam visits Victor. He wants to know what his father has in store for him. Victor tells him that he is about to acquire Tucker's company and he wants Adam to run it. Victor reveals there is a roadblock but he is determined to make it a success.
