In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for February 20, 2023, Victor makes a power move to help Adam, Heather gives Daniel a warning, and Devon turns to Christine for counsel.
On the outside of Society, Sally and Chloe are ready to revel. Sally is apprehensive since she is preoccupied with trying to figure out who the father of her child is and has a lot on her mind. On the inside of Society, Chloe tells Sally not to worry since she'll make a fantastic mother. Chloe offers her a hearty hug and reassures her that she can depend on her at all times. Nick joins them and assumes they are engaged in some sort of activity. He asks for an update on their status with Jill and they share that they have good news. Chloe leaves. Adam appears as Sally and Nick are getting close physically. Adam queries their state of affairs then they tell him that they were just leaving.
Daniel expresses gratitude to Lucy for the gift of the bracelet. He assures her that he will never lose sight of her. After giving him a hug, Lucy withdraws and apologizes. She doesn't need to apologize, he says, because it was the finest hug he's received all day. There's a knock at the door. Daniel approaches and opens the door, and Heather instructs Lucy to fetch her phone and backpack. Daniel appreciates Heather allowing him some quality time with his daughter. Heather advises Daniel to be cautious as he reconnects with Lucy. As she returns, Lucy departs with Heather to visit Paul and Christine.
Daniel tells Lily when she comes by that his daughter and Heather are in town. Also, he informs her that Heather has moved on. He informs Lily that he had a heart-to-heart with Lucy. Daniel confides in Lily before saying he's not sure he wants to carry on with the project. While Daniel is concerned right now, Lily assures him that things will improve. She exhorts him to persevere with Omega Sphere. He claims he needs some time to sort things out and consider his emotional state. He can take as much time as he needs, Lily informs him before she departs.
Devon gets a visit from Christine at his place. Abby leaves to check on Dominic so that the two can talk privately. Christine is his legal representative who has a vital question for him. After their talk, Abby comes down the stairs and reports that Dominic is still asleep. Christine leaves and crosses paths with Nate at the elevator. He makes an effort to learn why she is there, but Christine is evasive in her responses and avoids his inquiries.
At Crimson Lights, Adam gives his father an ultimatum. Victor rebuffs and says he can't do it. Adam is ready to leave but Victor tells him to sit down as he informs him of his plans to acquire a company for his son to run. Adam gives him 24 hours to consider his proposal and then he leaves.
At the Newman office, Victoria meets with Nate and Nick. She apologizes for the absence of her father and mother and promises to bring them up to speed. She informs them that Tucker came to her and offered to sell her his company. Nick encouraged her to question his motives. Nate fills them in on his chat with Audra. He updates them that Audra revealed their plans to Tucker.
Victoria updates Victor on the meeting earlier. Victor is ready to make a move on Tucker's company right away and Victoria agrees but she gets a call informing her that someone already purchased Tucker's company. Victor and Victoria try to figure out who could have bought Tucker's debt.
Tucker visits Ashley at the Abbott Mansion. He is ready to prove to her that he is a changed man. Ashley is shocked to learn that Tucker is selling his company. Tucker gets a text message. He makes a call to find out that someone already assumed his debt. After much debate, Ashley tells him, "For the record, I bought your debt. I own you. I'm not going to make it easy for you."
Christine and Lily run into each other at Society. Christine lets Lily know that she is representing Devon. She would much rather they found a way to work things out instead of going to court.
Despite Abby's attempt to get Devon to back down, he says he knows what he is doing and it's for the sake of his family. Lily calls Amanda and begs her to represent her. Nick and Sally are at Crimson Lights when she gets a message alerting her that the paternity test results are in.
