Days Recap for March 20, 2023: John Hears from Marlena

In today's recap of Days of Our Lives for March 20, 2023, Megan orders Kate to be killed. Marlena and Kayla grill Dr. Rolf. Marlena tries to reach out to John. Hope makes a discovery about Harris. 

Megan encourages Bo to use the gun he has to kill Kate. Kate begs and Bo agrees, noting that the place could get very messy with blood so it's best to do the job elsewhere. Megan agrees and tells him to take her outside, finish the job and leave her there to rot. In the absence of Megan, Kate pleads with Bo who orders her at gunpoint to move it. On the outside, Kate uses Hope's name to try to get through to Bo but it doesn't work. She informs Bo that she married Roman on her deathbed and if he kills her, he would devastate his brother. Kate also tries reaching Bo by mentioning his children and the rest of his family. She tells him that Hope is miserable and he could fix it. Bo says that he wants her dead so Kate tells him if that is true then do it, pull the trigger.

Hope contacts Andrew. She reveals to John and Steve that the ISA granted visiting privileges to see Harris Michaels. They want to go with her but she tells them that it's best she goes alone.

Marlena and Kayla try to get information from Dr. Rolf. As he is about to give them some news, Megan walks in. The ladies query about Kate's whereabouts when Megan informs them that kate refused to cooperate so she is about to suffer a different fate. Marlena and Kaayla wonder what Megan could be up to now. They are hopeful that Kate is safe. Marlena and Kayla agree that they have to keep the faith that they will all make it out alive.

Megan orders Dr. Rolf to make another serum for them to experiment with. She remembers the last July when Bo finally woke up asking for Hope Brady. She also recalls how she worked with Rolf to do a procedure to get rid of his feelings for Hope. The procedure worked to an extent so now she advises Rolf to make sure that this new serum works the way she wants it to. As Megan recalls all that happened in the last few months, we learn that Bo was the one who snatched the orchid from the DiMera mansion. Megan notes that after all, she did to bring Bo back to life, she deserves him. She hears the gunshot and notes that the job is finally done. Bo returns and tells her that it's done and lashes out at her telling her that he doesn't take orders from her. 

At the Brady Pub, Roman speaks to Kate's urn begging her to reach out. He puts down the urn and closes up the pub. John and Steve return to Salem and pay Roman a visit. They update him on their run-in with Hope and what they learned from her. They worry about Hope's safety as she goes to see Harris. The men talk about hearing from their wives since the whole ordeal as John realizes that he is the only one who hasn't heard from his wife. The men go their separate ways. On the outside of the Brady Pub, John hears Marlena's voice saying, "Don't give up on me, John." John brushes it off and says it's just the wind. 

Agent Rose welcomes Hope to the ISA Facility. Rose takes Hope to see Harris. Although advised that it could be dangerous for her to be alone with him, Hope insists and is granted the privilege to. She sits to talk with him in an attempt to get some information. Harris questions Hope if she has any feelings for him. With much persuasion from Hope, Harris agrees to undergo another session with Dr. Brady-Donovan.
