In today's recap of Days of Our Lives for March 27, 2023: John makes a shocking discovery, Kayla is reunited with Bo, Steve captures Megan, and Ciara is upset when she finds Hope and Harris together.
Roman updates Eric about the hunt for Megan and tells him that Harris is helping them. Eric is skeptical but Roman explains that Harris was brainwashed by Megan but that the ISA deprogrammed him. Roman tells him that Harris underwent ECT and remembered the facility he was held in by Megan and tells him that Steve and John are checking it out now. Eric's surprised that Roman's not with them but he tells him that he can't be because he is going to lay Kate to rest.
Roman tells Eric that Kate wanted to go to Ireland on their honeymoon to learn about the roots of the Brady family and they never got the chance so he's going there to scatter her ashes with Austin, Carrie, and Billie. Eric offers to go with him but Roman asks him to stay and watch the pub for him. Eric hopes that by the time he gets back, Megan will have been captured. Roman agrees and says he wants to confront the person who killed Kate.
Hope and Harris agree to take it slow and kiss. Ciara is upset when she comes in and sees what's going on. She tells Hope that Bo would be rolling over in his grave if he knew. Hope tries to convince her that Harris is no longer brainwashed by Megan but Ciara is skeptical. Hope tells her that Harris risked his life to help them find Megan and tells her about the treatment that he volunteered for. Ciara is concerned that Harris may still be under Megan's control and Harris says he agrees with everything she said.
Harris apologizes for everything he did and says he doesn't blame her for not wanting him near Hope. Hope reminds Ciara how she believed in Ben when no one else did and says that she has the same belief in Harris. She tells her daughter that she and Harris are going to take things slow and Ciara slowly comes around to accepting it. She tells her mother that she's pregnant and Hope is overjoyed. She hopes her mother will be there for her pregnancy and Hope promises that she will.
They make plans to get together for dinner before Ben and Ciara leave again and Ciara invites Harris to join them. After she leaves Hope apologizes for her daughter but Harris says she just wanted to protect her mother. He's worried that he may relapse and suggests Hope stay away from him until they know for sure. She tells him she can take care of herself and takes his hand.
Kayla is shocked to see her brother alive but quickly hugs him and proclaims it a miracle. When Megan starts to stir he tells her they have to get out of there. He leads her outside but she tells him they can't go without Marlena. Bo tells her to forget Marlena but Kayla refuses to leave her in Megan's clutches. She asks if he knows Kate's dead and Bo tells her that he's the one who shot her. Kayla is confused about what is going on with Bo. She doesn't understand how he can be so uncaring about the people he cared about. She figures out that he was brainwashed by Megan and tells him about what Megan did to Steve and John. She tells him that if they go get Marlena she can fix what Megan did. Bo says there's nothing to fix and he doesn't need anyone. What about Hope, Kayla wonders.
Bo tells her that he doesn't want anything to do with Hope or his past. She argues with him about it and brings up Ciara, telling him that he has a new grandson who was named after him. She reminds him of his special bond with Ciara and Bo hesitates but ultimately refuses to be swayed. When Kayla refuses to leave without Marlena, Bo pulls a gun on her and makes her leave with him!
John finds Marlena unconscious in her tube and is overjoyed to find out that she's alive. Rolf comes in and John holds him at gunpoint and tells him to wake her up. Rolf injects her with a serum and Marlena awakens. She thinks she's dreaming when she sees John, and Rolf sneaks out as they share a tearful reunion. Marlena tells him that Kayla and Kate were kept captive with her. She doesn't know where Kayla is but tells him that Kate is dead.
Megan comes to just as Steve enters her lab, gun drawn. He tells her that she's going to pay for killing his wife and says she's going to prison for murdering all three women. She tells him that she stole the orchid to save them and that Kayla is alive! Steve doesn't believe her but Megan tells him that she can prove it. Megan leads him to the other lab and John holds her at gunpoint while Steve has a touching reunion with Marlena.
Marlena tells Steve that Kayla is alive too. He demands that Megan tell him where she is but she doesn't know. John tells him that Rolf's there too and Steve goes to look for him and Kayla. Megan tells John and Marlena that everything she did was for love and that she wasn't the one who shot Kate. When they ask who did, she smirks "wouldn't you like to know?"
Outside Steve finds Kayla's necklace and knows that she's alive. He vows to find her. Down on the dock, Bo gets Kayla on the boat and the orchid is seen in the crate he was just packing.
