In today's recap of General Hospital for March 20, 2023, Valentin and Anna disagree; Lucy makes a bold move; Sonny makes a tough decision; Willow issues a request; and Michael opens up to Brook Lynn.
Anna and Valentin search for Lucy. Valentin wants to leave but Anna is reluctant. They argue about what could happen if they were to be discovered and likewise if Lucy would be discovered. Anna offers to go find her before Victor does. As Anna is ready to go, she and Valentin end up in a heated argument. Anna storms out leaving Valetin very upset.
Lucy stumbles upon Maxie and Bobbie talking about the Nurses' Ball. In her disguise, Lucy grabs a seat and listens to Maxie and Bobbie's conversation. Maxie suggests having Obrecht included. Bobbie takes a powder room break leaving Maxie alone.
Spencer meets up with Victor. Victor is happy to see him. Spencer says his little baby brother is in danger and he needs Victor's help to save him. Spencer wants to get his brother away from Esme and seeks Victor's assistance. Bobbie walks over and says, "Victor Cassadine, I have been meaning to have a word with you - - about my brother." Bobbie accuses Victor of being responsible and promises that he will pay one glorious day. Bobbie points out to Spencer that Laura also thinks that Victor is a murderer. Spencer offers his full support if Victor is able to help him.
Willow tells Michael she is looking forward to a very nice wedding. Drew comes by as Willow notes that there is something only he can help with. Willow asks Michael to give them some privacy to talk. Willow informs Drew that she and Michael want to wait until after the transplant for the wedding. She then asks Drew to be her giveaway father. Drew is grateful she asked and he promises to be there as he reminds her that she can always count on him.

He meets Brook Lynn on the outside and she asks if everything is okay. Michael fills Brook Lynn in on everything telling her about the update with Liesl and Willow's wishes for a grand wedding. Michael says it's a waiting game and waiting to see how long it's going to take. Brook Lynn wonders with all the uncertainty, how long will it take for Willow to forgive Nina. If these are Willow's last days Michael doesn't Willow to worry about using them to make Nina happy. Michael leaves to go run an errand.
Josslyn asks Dex if he now has a different view of Sonny. Dex is grateful to Sonny but his views haven't necessarily changed. Dex worries that now that he knows too much he will not be able to warn Sonny without being compromised. Josslyn questions him about how he got hired and he tells her. Josslyn suggests Dex goes into hiding. Dex doesn't want to go unless she will go with him. She begs him to leave her out of it whatever he decides. He says it's too late as he pulls her in for a kiss. As they lay on the couch, Josslyn is anticipating finding out who Dex's mystery boss is. Michael knocks on the door and calls for Dex.
Brook Lynn gives Willow the message from Michael. Willow tells Brook Lynn that she asked a big favor of Drew. Willow opens noting that she keeps going back and forth. One moment everything is alright and the next she pictures herself dying. Brook Lynn asks about Chase. Willow then asks if Brook Lynn is still in love with Chase.
Nina is stunned to see Carly and Sonny. He tells her the reason for Carly's visit as Nina wonders if Carly is leaving with Donna because of her. Donna comes out and greets "Aunty Nina" while Carly looks on. Donna wants a sleepover but Sonny says they can do that a next time. Carly leaves with Donna and reminds Sonny that they will talk. Nina queries, "What just happened?" With the attempt on his life, Sonny tells Nina that his children will not be visiting and neither will she until he can fix things. Sonny tells Nina of some of the bad things that happened to people close to him and he refuses to go through that again. Nina promises to keep her distance as she begs him to promise to figure it out.
Maxie goes to Deception. She hears a noise and steps to the door. Lucy grabs her from behind as Maxie takes a self-defense move harming Lucy. Maxie thought it was a burglar and is totally stunned once she realizes that it's Lucy. Lucy says she is back to save the Nurses' Ball. She appreciates Maxie and Bobbie stepping up to take on the responsibility of the big event but she wants to be a part of the planning and wants Maxie to be her eyes and ears. Anna comes by and Maxie is also stunned to see her. Maxie has a lot of questions but Anna tells Lucy it is time for them to go.

Valentin goes out and recalls his argument with Anna. Carly comes along and is surprised to see him. She tells him that he will need to convince her to keep his secret. Valentin notes that it all has to do with Victor. Valentin is trying to prove that Victor killed her uncle Luke. Carly wonders how can she trust Valentin. Drew comes in and is ready to hear the plan to take down Victor.
