On today’s General Hospital recap for March 9, 2023: Sonny questions Gladys, Nina and Curtis catch up, Trina briefs Ava, Maxie has a big idea, and Lucy is horrified.
Sonny overhears Nina asking about SEC violations and wants to know why she is asking about that. Trina goes to the gallery to see Ava. Ms. Wu corners Curtis in the elevator and asks if he received her wedding gift and asks why she hasn't heard from him. Sasha goes to see Cody at the Quartermaine stables. Lucy is sick of being stuck in the safe house and is driving Valentin and Anna crazy with her complaints. Eileen wakes up as Victor is getting dressed. He tells her he doesn't want to discuss their night. Bobbie, Felicia, and Maxie discuss the 60th anniversary of General Hospital. Maxie wants to help plan a celebration.
Lucy and Valentin discuss Deception stocks. She gets annoyed at Anna and Valentin being affectionate. Eileen tries to get Victor to let her help with his plan. Sasha has a gift for Cody. Ava and Trina discuss what has been going on in their lives. Curtis blows Ms. Wu off and leaves. Ms. Wu sees Gladys and asks why she didn't meet her. Gladys has the deed to the garage for her. Nina covers with Sonny and he asks if she has heard from Willow. She says she hasn't but is happy to be in the loop. He asks her if Ava has said anything about Nik threatening to take Avery. Maxie thinks they need to throw a Nurse's Ball to commemorate the hospital's anniversary.
Bobbie says they don't have time to put on the Nurse's Ball but Maxie says they can do it. Victor tells Eileen if she wants to help then she should only come when he calls. She tells him she can get a file with information on the necklace if she pulls some strings. She calls Anna after she leaves his room. Lucy and Valentin are arguing about her wanting to leave. Anna tells them Eileen said she can get them what they need on Victor. Ms. Wu tells Gladys that her debt is covered and tells her she can gamble with the remaining funds. Gladys tells her she is done gambling. Sasha brought Cody biscotti to thank him for not ratting her out to the desk clerk at the PCPD. Ava tells Trina that it isn't her fault and that most secrets eventually come to light. Trina has a lot of emotions going on and tells Ava about them. Curtis interrupts Sonny and Nina and asks if they can talk. He wants to reimburse her for the honeymoon suite because Portia may not be his wife much longer.
Sonny leaves Nina and Curtis to talk. Ms. Wu approaches him and asks about her shipment. He tells her that she uses his docks at his discretion. He goes up to Gladys and asks why she was talking to Ms. Wu. Ava tells Trina that there are always shades of grey and even though Portia was wrong there is no telling what a mother might do for her child. Sasha and Cody talk about her wanting justice for Brando and feeling better. She asks how he is doing. He tells her he keeps letting down people who care about it him. Maxie and Bobbie discuss possible sponsors for the ball. Maxie wants Bobbie to be her co-chair on the planning committee. Felicia goes to the safehouse and they talk about Ryan being dead and the plan with Eileen. Laura approaches Eileen in the cafe.
Eileen is surprised to see Laura. She thinks Anna sent her. Laura tells her she volunteered. Eileen accuses her of setting her up and playing her. Lucy asks Felicia to stay so she's not a third wheel. She is upset that there could be a Nurse's Ball without her. Maxie tries to convince Bobbie to be her co-chair. Sasha talks to Cody about regrets over the time she lost with Brando. She likes that Cody doesn't treat her with kid gloves. Trina asks Ava if she should take the DNA test. Ava tells her that she likes to know who she is and where she came from. Nina sympathizes with Curtis but encourages him to work things out. She says she understands why someone would lie like Portia did. Gladys tells Sonny she sold the garage to Ms. Wu. Victor comes up to the Metrocourt bar and Ms. Wu offers to buy him a drink.
Sasha tells Cody she loves riding and he offers to let her ride Comet. Eileen tells Laura that Victor was unable to perform sexually. Nina assures Curtis she is always on his team. They talk about being angry about having their children kept from them. He wants to know if Trina is his but she isn't sure she wants to know. Nina advises him not to push her. Ava reminds Trina that they are deeply connected without DNA and tells her she will be right beside her.
Bobbie agrees to help Maxie. They want to do Lucy proud. Felicia tells Lucy that Maxie wants to honor her with the Nurse's Ball. Lucy gets mad again when she finds out Bobbie is going to co-chair. Nina asks Curtis if Portia and Trina will be out of his life if Trina's not his daughter. Trina tells Ava how much she counts on her. Cody tells Sasha she no longer has the garage. She asks why he thinks that. Sonny says he is fine with Ms. Wu buying the garage as long as Sasha is. Anna and Valentin talk about how living with Lucy will be worth it in the end. Victor apologizes to Ms. Wu for being rude as she remembers drugging him. Eileen and Laura discuss Victor's impotence and Laura says that if seduction isn't going to work they need a new way for Eileen to engage his interest. Ms. Wu calls Holly and updates her on Victor. Eilen tells Laura about Victor's interest in the report on Holly.
