GH Recap For March 27, 2023: Cam Brings A Surprise For His Party Guests!

On today’s General Hospital recap for March 27, 2023: Trina attempts to run interference, Laura and Liz have a heart-to-heart, Dex checks in with Josslyn, Spencer is incredulous, and Marshall voices his appreciation.

Esme packs up Ace and opens the door to leave but Cameron is on the other side and asks if she's going somewhere. She tells him that she doesn't have to answer to him and is surprised to find out that he is Laura's grandson Cameron, another one of her victims. He blasts her for what she did to him and Joss and tells her that he doesn't believe she has amnesia. She invites him in to tell her more about the horrible person she was. 

Esme apologizes for everything she did and assures Cam that her memory loss is real. She tells him that she's getting her karma by being at the mercy of people she can't trust.  Cameron is surprised that she's staying there instead of Kelly's. She tells him she won't be separated from Ace. He asks why she was leaving and she lies, saying they were just going for a walk. He tells her that the old her was a better liar. She admits she was leaving and asks him not to rat her out to Laura and Spencer.

Cam tells her about their plan to get the charges against her dropped and why they did it. She appreciates his honesty. Cameron tells her about Franco and the redemption he was able to find and tells her that he was her brother but that's he dead now. He offers to tell Esme about him and how he redeemed himself before he leaves for school. He tells her that if she leaves town now she'll never get the chance to prove to everyone that she's changed. He gets a text and tells her that he has to go but asks if she'll be ok. She tells him that he doesn't have to pretend he cares but that they'll be fine and he can go.

Spencer shows up to pick up Trina for Cam's party and she tries to leave but Marshall stops her and invites Spencer in for "a long overdue chat". Trina says they have to go and Marshall reminds her that she wanted to get pictures to bring to the party. She is reluctant to leave them alone but Spencer assures her that she's fine. Once they're alone Spencer tells Marshall that he knows Trina's family and friends don't approve of their friendship. Marshall counters that it's more than just friendship between them and says that changes things. 

Spencer tells him that he lives with the regret of hurting Trina and is trying to be a better man because he cares about her. Marshall tells him he respects how he is trying to step up for his little brother but that he better reward Trina's faith in him. Trina comes back in and Marshall tells them to have fun before leaving them alone. Trina quizzes Spencer but he tells her it was fine and that Marshall gave him a lot to think about when it came to them. He tells her that she makes him happy and that he wants her in his life. She tells him she feels the same and they kiss. Marshall interrupts them and Trina thanks him for whatever he said before they leave. 

Liz is writing out a card to Cameron and putting the finishing touches on his going away party when Laura shows up and asks how she's holding up. They talk about how much everyone is going to miss him and Laura tells her that they have to talk about Nikolas. Laura tells her that she doesn't blame her but wishes she had trusted her more. 

She thinks Nikolas took advantage of Liz's vulnerability after she saw her parents and wishes she could have helped her. Liz tells her that she didn't want to make her an accomplice and didn't want to lose her respect. Laura tells Liz that she's proud of her courage in stepping forward. She tells her that she's both worried and frustrated with Nikolas and wishes she knew where he was. Liz tells Laura that she's thankful for the immunity deal but feels bad about not paying a price for what she did. 

Liz tells Laura that she's worried that Epiphany hasn't contacted her because she's mad about what she did. Laura assures her that she didn't let anyone down, including Epiphany, and that everyone who loved her still does. Later Josslyn comes into Charlie's and apologizes to Liz for hurting Cameron. Liz tells her that she thinks they can find their friendship again and that Cam just needs time. She tells Joss that she's hoping they will come through it. 

Maxie runs into Joss outside of Kelly's and asks for her help with the Nurse's Ball. Josslyn offers to do anything she needs but balks when Maxie asks her to perform. She tells her that it wouldn't feel right without Cameron and Maxie suggests she perform with Trina. Josslyn agrees to ask her and Maxie reminds her that she'll get a plus one with her ticket as Dex approaches. 

Dex introduces himself to Maxie and she asks him if he dances. She tells Josslyn to tell him how much fun the Nurse's Ball is and tells Dex that Joss will be performing. She leaves them alone and he tells Joss that he didn't know she sang, She tells him that there's a lot they don't know about each other. She asks him what he's doing there and he says that he wanted to check on her and tells her about his conversation with Cam. 

Dex comes out of Kelly's later and Maxie's waiting for him and wants to know if he'll commit to performing at the Nurse's Ball. She tells him she knows just where to put him. He's hesitant but she asks him to think about it before leaving.

Anna is worried because they haven't heard from Eileen but Valentin tells her to not assume the worst. He thinks Victor will be fooled by the false code in the fake necklace. Anna thinks he may figure out that someone is trying to set him up and thinks they need to be ready for complications. Anna is still worried about Eileen and Valentin tries to distract her by asking what she's going to do once they're free and tells her his plans for himself and Charlotte and business. 

Anna wonders if they will still have time for each other once the plan is over. Valentin tells her that he wants them to still be together and asks if there's something she's not saying. She admits that she's worried he'll be bored with her when they're not fighting Victor. Valentin tells her that she is his greatest adventure and all he needs. 

Victor searches the necklace until he finds the code he's looking for but when Eileen asks if they are done he tells her they are just getting started. He writes down the code and tries to give her the necklace as a gift. He tells her he no longer needs it. She asks why he wanted it in the first place and he tells her he needed it to save the world. 

She acts confused and he tells her that he and his brothers, Anthony and Mikkos once invented something to undo the harm that humanity had inflicted on the world but Mikos was more controlled by money and power. Victor says he tried to convince him to do the right thing but Luke and Laura showed up and ruined everything. He tells her he needs the code on the diamond to unlock the door to the contingency plan that he and his brother came up with and that all he needs to do is crack the code. 

She asks how he plans to do that and he shows her a thumb drive that he says holds the encryption key for the code. He tells her that his plan will ensure his family's future but countless others will pay the price for generations to come. He promises she will be taken care of but when he types the code into the program and it doesn't work he accuses her of betraying him. Eileen plays dumb and tells him that she got the necklace from the PCPD after bribing a police officer Victor wonders if Laura and Robert could have suspected her plan. 

She convinces him that the encryption key may be to blame and he angrily throws the thumb drive as he rages against his brother for betraying him. Anna calls her to try to give her an out to leave but she blows her off because she wants to get the discarded thumb drive. Anna tells Valentin that Eileen's about to blow up the whole plan!

Trina and Spencer get to the party and he's mad when he finds out that Esme is home alone with the baby because Kevin got called to the hospital. Laura reminds him, again, that Esme is capable of taking care of the baby and that she's not their prisoner. Spencer and everyone else are shocked when Cam comes into Charlie's carrying a baby seat with Esme and Ace right behind him!
