GH Recap for March 28, 2023: Victor Kills Eileen!

On today’s General Hospital recap for March 28, 2023: Lucy is outraged, Cameron advises Spencer, Elizabeth gets a shock, Scott opens up to Laura, and Diane assists Robert.

Maxie is overwhelmed planning for the Nurse's Ball and Lucy's constant texts are driving her crazy. She ignores the texts and goes on with her planning as Bobbie and Sasha compliment Brooke Lynn on the great performer lineup she set up for the Ball. Maxie starts to talk to them about changing the seating to add another table when Lucy calls her and she excuses herself to talk in private. The other three talk about the order of the lineup and Chase comes in as Brook Lynn's talking about needing something sexy. 

Out in the hall, Maxie tells Lucy that she can't call, only text, and that she can't deal with her and the Nurse's Ball at the same time. Lucy says she has an idea. Felix talks to Chase about the rehearsal as Sashsa encourages Brook Lynn not to give up hope on her and Chase. Brook Lynn tells her that Chase made it clear that there was no hope when they talked the day before. Sasha asks her what happened but they are interrupted by Bobbie and Maxie coming over to talk about the Nurse's Ball. Maxie has it set up so that Lucy can hear them talk but when Sasha suggests Bobbie end the ball, Lucy lets out a bloodcurdling scream and Maxie takes her earpiece out quickly. 

Lucy continues to listen in and complain about their ideas. Maxie gets sick of it and yells for her to stop and then has to cover so the rest of them don't know Lucy's listening in. They all assure her that she's doing a great job and that the Nurse's Ball is going to be great. Lucy panics when Maxie turns off her earpiece and she can no longer hear her.  

Maxie thinks Bobbie should end the ball. She is reluctant but eventually agrees. Chase is having issues with his number and Felix asks Brook Lynn to help them out by telling them how she feels about love. He tells her that he needs help with set design and lighting for Chase's number. Chase and Brooke Lynn talk cryptically about the situation between them and Felix is confused. 

Lucy calls Maxie and she rips into her for trashing all of their ideas. Maxie tells her that she has to trust her to do what's right and Lucy begs her to not let Bobbie host. Maxie tells her that they're not doing that and Lucy insults her idea of what to do instead. Maxie tells her that if she calls again she's blocking her number. Felix asks Brook Lynne and Chase if their previous relationship will be a problem and they promise him that it won't be. Maxie, Bobbie, and Sasha agree that the plan they have in place is the right one for the Nurse's Ball. Meanwhile, at the safe house, Lucy decides that she has to find a way to be there! 

Cam's friends and family are shocked when he brings Esme and Ace to his going away party. Spencer is not happy but Laura welcomes her. Cam says that he invited her and Liz says that it's his party and he can invite anyone he wants. Liz welcomes her and Esme makes a sarcastic remark about Liz knowing how much she doesn't like being locked up. 

Cam asks Esme to not make him regret bringing her and Liz apologizes. Esme accepts her apology with some prompting from Cam but thinks she should leave. He reminds her about wanting to be a better person and showing people she's changed and convinces her to stay at the party. Liz takes her to get settled in and he tells Spencer and Laura that he caught her trying to leave town and that he didn't want to risk leaving her alone. Laura thanks him and Spencer wants to have a talk with Esme but Laura stops him from doing it there. Scotty shows up and wants to know what Esme's doing there. Trina and Joss talk about how weird it is to see Esme with a baby. Joss thinks someone needs to take the baby from Esme as soon as possible. Spencer is furious with Esme but Cameron reminds them all that she has amnesia and that they should try to coexist without hostility toward her. 

Laura explains to Scott why Esme is staying with her and he updates her about his relationship with Liesel. Liz comes over and apologizes for damaging their relationship but Scott brushes it off and asks about the outcome of the ethics committee hearing. She tells him that she was cleared but is afraid she's lost a friend since she hasn't heard back from Epiphany. Laura and Scott think she's worrying for nothing and tries to reassure her that she'll hear from her soon. 

Joss approaches Esme and asks her about her past before boarding school and is skeptical when Esme tells her that she doesn't remember anything. Esme apologizes to her for what she did and tells her that she doesn't remember it and hopes she never does because she doesn't want to be that person again. She tells Joss that all that matters to her is being a good Mom to Ace.

Cameron comes over to check on Esme and Ace and she tells him that she wishes she was the one leaving town. He tells her that she doesn't have to be alone, it's her choice. Spencer thinks back on Victor's offer to help with Esme and then covers with Cameron about what he was really thinking about. Scott proposes a toast and they all rally around Cameron as Esme watches from the side. Before she leaves with Laura, Esme tells him goodbye. He tells her that Laura isn't against her. Laura comes over and wishes him well before helping Esme leave with the baby. 

 

Robert is waiting in the MC when Diane comes off the elevator and asks why he's there. He tells her that he was meeting someone for a drink but was stood up and she tells him that she doesn't believe that for a second. She doesn't believe anyone would stand him up. Robert tells her that it was business and not a date that he was waiting for. He gets a call from Anna telling him to go get Eileen out of the room and goes to the elevator. Diane tells him she's meeting Alexis upstairs so she'll ride up with him. Diane is confused when Robert presses the button for a floor below the restaurant. He tries to cover but it just causes her to ask more questions. 

Diane figures out that he's looking for Victor's room and he tells her that he's looking for Eileen. He pounds on the door but there's no answer. He is about to kick in the door and tells her to go meet Alexis. Diane comes back to find Robert trying to jimmy the lock and gives him a master key she bribed a maid for. Robert opens the door and the room is empty! He fills her in on the plan and she wants to know what Victor did. Robert tells her that he killed Luke Spencer. 

Felicia comes into the safehouse and finds Lucy frustrated because Maxie hasn't been answering her texts. Anna and Valentin fill her in on what's happening with Eileen and Victor and tell her they're worried she's putting all of them and the operation in jeopardy. Felicia wonders if Eileen is double-crossing them but Anna doesn't think so. She thinks Eileen is trying to get the encryption key. Felicia thinks that's good but Valentin is worried and so is Anna. Felicia tries to talk them down by staying optimistic. Anna gets a call from Robert updating them about Victor's empty room. They try to figure out where Victor took Eileen. 

Victor tells Eileen that she can leave but she tries to seduce him. She is interrupted when his henchman shows up. Victor takes him into the other room and Eileen grabs the thumb drive. She is sending a text when Victor comes in and reminds her that her life depends on her working for him. She tries to leave but he tells her that she's not done yet. 

Eileen reminds Victor that he said the encryption key was the problem and he tells her that he needs her to return the necklace to the PCPD so they don't know it's missing. He promises her that she'll be done with everything soon and tells her he just needs her to do one more thing. 

Victor brings Eileen to the bridge for privacy. His henchman searches her and finds the thumb drive. In her desperation to save her life, she tells him that Valentin and Anna are alive and in Port Charles. He demands to know where but she doesn't know. She tells him about the fake necklace and begs for her life. She tells him that they have the real one and she can get it for him. 

Victor makes Eileen call Anna and tell her that she's done with helping and leaving town. She lies to them about Victor not being on to them and he hangs up her phone. Anna knows they've lost her help and hopes she's safe but thinks that as long as they have the real necklace they have the upper hand over Victor. Eileen thinks Victor's going to let her go but he throws her off the bridge to her death!

Liz and Cameron talk about how much they'll miss each other and share a touching moment before he leaves the party. After everyone is gone Liz tries to call Epiphany and a state trooper answers and tells her that he has some bad news about her friend. Liz is devastated by what he tells her.
