On today’s General Hospital recap for March 30, 2023: Spencer meets with Victor, Selina offers up information, Dex makes a gruesome discovery, Drew updates Anna and Valentin, and Ava comes face-to-face with an enemy.
Dex and Sonny are on the docks when Selina arrives with her guard. Sonny asks if she found out who the shooter was. She wasn't able to but she did get the belongings he had left behind at the Highsider bar and gives them to Sonny. She promises to keep digging and tell him anything she finds out. After she leaves Dex and Sonny are headed to Sonny's office when Dex spots a body in the water and jumps in to retrieve it.
After Dex lays the body on the pier Sonny tells him that it's Deputy Mayor Ashbey. Jordan arrives later and quizzes Sonny and he tells her that he found the body and that he had nothing to do with what happened to her.
Joss and Trina are rehearsing their number for the Nurse's Ball when Maxie comes in panicking that they're not ready when the ball is tomorrow. They assure her that they are and are just making sure it's perfect and she leaves to fix another Nurse's Ball crisis. After she's gone Trina updates Joss about the status of her relationship with Spencer. She tells her that she wants to be with him but is scared because of him living with Esme and Ace. She thinks the best thing to do is to take it slow and Joss agrees with her.
Trina turns the tables and asks Joss if she's ready to start dating again after the breakup with Cam. Joss hedges and tells her that she's too busy with school and life to think about that stuff right now. Trina offers to set her up with a classmate but Joss shuts her down. Is she really too busy, Trina wonders, or has Joss already found someone?
Joss admits to her friend that there is someone but tells her that she can't give her details yet because it's too dangerous. She promises to update her as soon as it's safe but Trina thinks back on the confrontation between Joss and Spencer over Dex outside the church on her Mom and Curtis's wedding day and wonders if he's Joss's new guy.
Esme and Spencer take Ace to GH because Esme is worried there's something wrong with him. Spencer is rude to her and she tells him to just go but he says that he's not leaving her alone with his brother. Austin comes in and is very sweet to Esme about her worries. Spencer scoffs when Austin compliments her on the baby's name but they ignore him. Austin checks out the baby and assures Esme that he's ok. He tells her that the baby is colicky and tells her he's going to help her treat it at home.
After he leaves to get the information she needs. Spencer tells Esme he has to leave but she reminds him that he drove them. He says he'll be right back but she says she has to be more independent and tells him that she's planning on getting a job so she can support herself and Ace. He belittles her but she is adamant that she's turning over a new leaf and trying to do the right thing. Spencer makes it clear that he doesn't believe her before leaving.
Liz, Aiden, Jake, Laura, Finn, and Violet gather together for a gooing-away breakfast for Cam. He is very touched by everyone's contributions and well wishes. Liz talks about her sadness over him leaving with Finn and Laura and both assure her that it's all going to be ok. Laura shares a touching goodbye with her grandson before leaving and the kids give him an art project they all pitched in on for him to take with him.
Once they're alone, Cam tells Liz that he doesn't think he should go because they all need him. She tells him how much they all love him and how proud they all are and promises him that they'll be fine and it's time for him to pursue his dreams. They hug and he promises that it's not goodbye forever.
Anna and Valentin are discussing their concern over not hearing from Eileen when Drew shows up to update them on his progress. He tells them that Victor checked out of his hotel room and cleared everything out of it. He also tells them that Eileen is gone and she didn't leave by choice.
Laura arrives on the pier and is distraught when she finds out Eileen is dead. After Jordan leaves to take a call she tells Sonny that she thinks it was Victor and that Anna, Valentin, and Lucy need to be warned. He promises her that he'll take care of it and goes to the safe house. Once there he tells Anna, Valentin, and Drew what happened. Drew tells them that they have to assume that Victor is on to them. Anna thinks Victor will come after them next.
Joss and Trina are still talking when Dex shows up for his rehearsal for the Magic Wands act in the Nurse's Ball. They tease him about the act and Trina notices the looks Joss and Dex keep giving each other. After Maxie comes in and drags Dex away to a costume fitting, Trina raises an eyebrow and jokingly teases her friend about Dex.
Felicia and Ava have coffee at Kelly's and talk about what happened with Ryan on Spoon Island. They are both relieved that he's dead but Ava doesn't like that Esme hasn't paid and that the charges against her were dropped. She promises Felicia that she's not taking the law into her own hands but is frustrated with the situation.
Felicia asks her about her relationship with Austin and Ava tells her that they're just friends while remembering their conversation about Nik's body disappearing. Later Ava goes to the hospital and as she steps off the elevator the first person she sees is Esme!
On the pier, Jordan tells Laura that the coroner found many broken bones and thinks Eileen suffered a long fall. She wonders if she was suicidal but Laura assures her that she wasn't.
Spencer arrives at a secluded area in the park as Victor approaches. He thanks his uncle for meeting him and Victor asks if this means that he's finally ready to do what must be done.
