Y&R Recap for March 1, 2023: Tucker Makes Devon A Big Offer

In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 1, 2023, Victor and Victoria question Ashley’s motives, Devon gives Tucker the third degree, and Jack and Diane sneak out of town.






At Society, Diane and Jack inform Kyle about Jeremy Stark's return to town and their run-in with him. Kyle is very stunned. They tell him about the mysterious package that Jeremy sent to the house and about Chance confronting them. They also tell Kyle about their plan to go out of town for a while.






Stark and Kyle have a run-in. Kyle warns him to stay away from his family. Stark notes that he is on a different path. He decided to forgive and forget and is ready to tell Jack and Diane that but Kyle advises him that they flew out of town and won't be back anytime soon. Stark shares that he is not leaving town, he thinks of Genoa City as home now.








Over at the Abbott Mansion, Summer gets a visit from Phyllis who wants to go have coffee and talk. Phyllis makes it clear that she will not take no for an answer. Summer says no because she is going into the office. She reminds her mother that she messed up and she needs to admit to it when she's wrong. Phyllis argues why Summer is not behaving the same way with Nikki or Diane. She says she will never change and tells her daughter, "Maybe at this point, I'm the one who's had enough". Summer says she knows that she should just accept her mother for who she is but she needs to protect herself from any more hurt and disappointment and then shows Phyllis the door.

Ashley stops by Newman to see Victor and Victoria. They note that Tucker was ready to sell to them and wonder if Ashley could've been the one to have bought his debt. Ashley wonders why they would think she did it and they explain. Ashley hides the truth noting that she didn't. She points them in the direction of Devon. They advise her that they want to buy the company but Ashley says it is not up to her, it is up to Tucker so they should leave her out of it. Victor is certain that Ashley was the one to acquire Tucker's debt. Victoria thinks Ashley is falling for Tucker again and is using this as an avenue for him to change. 










Devon meets with Tucker at Crimson Lights to hear what he has to say. Tucker notes that he has a proposition that could change his son's life. Tucker tells him that he wants him to take over his company. Tucker notes his confidence in his son and would be happy if he would be at the helm of the company. Tucker says with the legal battle he's in with Lily and Jill, having his company is a safety net. Devon says the 30 minutes is up. Tucker leaves hoping to hear from his son soon.








Jack and Diane arrive at the Abbott Cabin. Jack wants them to put Stark behind them and just focus on them and their romantic getaway. Jack and Diane drink champagne and get romantic.






Devon returns home and tells Abby about his meeting with Tucker. Devon wonders if his father could be genuine or could be manipulating him yet again. Abby notes that this could be a great offer rather than a manipulation. She thinks Tucker's offer is worth consideration.






Tucker tells Ashley about his talk with Devon. He wants to know what Ashley will do with him if he fails. Phyllis orders vodka at Society. She looks across the restaurant and spots Jeremy Stark seated and having a drink.
