Y&R Recap for March 10, 2023: Nikki Makes A Shocking Announcement

In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 10, 2023, Nikki makes a shocking announcement, Summer strategizes against Sally, and Billy receives unexpected news





Billy is reviewing Chelsea's suggestions for the game and is incredibly impressed and in love with them. They exchange glances while looking into one another's eyes. When Chloe arrives, Billy departs. At the door, they exchange another of those looks. Naturally, Chloe butts in and attempts to get Chelsea to reveal details about her connection with Billy. Chelsea exudes praise for Billy.











While Summer and Nikki discuss Nick's relationship with Sally, Sally Summer reveals that Sally is pregnant. Nikki is astonished. Summer makes it clear that it is Adam's, not Nick's baby. Summer requests that she wait to notify Grandpa until the boys choose to do so. Nikki tells her that she won't say anything since she fears a major argument with Nick if she is found stirring up problems. Summer corrects Nikki when she assumes that Nick was moping and admits that she lost her temper with Sally and Nick afterward told her that he still has feelings for Sally. They both concur that the situation is a disaster in itself.











After asking how Adam is handling everything, Nikki adds that perhaps there is a way to end everything. Nikki fears that any meddling with Nick could have unintended consequences. What if Sally fell in love with Adam again, Summer wonders. Nikki mentions two problems. No one is more charming than Nick when he's enamored, so Sally's walls will be up very high, making it doubtful that Adam will be able to win her heart without a lot of luck and even more assistance.








Sally and Nick are talking about Summer, and Nick reassures her that everything will be well because he is close to Summer. They then discuss her new company and how to land a deal with Chancellor/Winters. He offers to fly her anywhere she needs to go on the Newman jet. She rejects him. Adam enters with a proposal for them to consider. He says that she couldn't stay in the hotel forever and offers to purchase her a house so that she can be properly settled when the new baby is born.





She can do whatever she wants with her design abilities, he tells her, and he wants to provide her and the baby a home now because he knows she never had one growing up. Nick warns him he's overstepping and Sally also declines. Sally becomes irate and tells them both to quit making such great gestures. She then decides to go it alone and leaves both of them.






Billy arrives at Crimson Lights. Billy responds to Sharon's inquiry about Chelsea by describing her progress and some of her plans. Sharon surmises that he is hinting at something more between himself and Chelsea. They are debating whether or not to move forward and how to do so. She reveals that her mental health problems were the cause of her close relationship with Adam. She is providing an angle he needs to take into consideration for Chelsea because he had been there for her. He appreciates her sharing her background with him and how it serves as a reminder for him to be on his toes when it comes to Chelsea. He says that he has no intention of hurting her. It feels right what they have.








Following her discussion with the brothers, Sally arrives. Nikki abandons her snobbish and formally disrespectful behavior and departs. Summer motions for Sally to join her at the table so that she can offer an apology while she sits at the bar. Sally appreciates her excellent apology, which she extends. Summer asserts that she must facilitate their reconciliation and expresses no desire to continue their conflict. Sally says she'd love to work something out and promises to go the extra mile. How is Adam handling the news? asks Summer. Sally claims that he is enthusiastic and encouraging. Summer informs her of Adam's penchant for being obstinate when he wants something.







Adam is handling everything extremely well, according to Sally, and behaving himself. Summer wonders how difficult this must be for Sally, and Sally wonders if Summer's abrupt change of heart has a deeper meaning. Summer describes to her how difficult it was to grow up around a dissatisfied Nick. She continues by saying she believes Sally and Adam are still meant to be together because, according to the pregnancy, they were intended to be.








Adam and Nick are discussing their issues while seated at the Grand Phoenix. Nick acknowledges that they must figure out a way to make it work when Adam asks how they can both be there for Sally. Adam wonders if Nick is okay with Victor's plans with McCall and if it would present them with yet another challenge. Nick assures him that he is fine with it, but Victoria won't make things simple.







At Nikki's, Michael and Lauren appear to talk about the bicentennial gala they are organizing together. A masquerade ball will be held there. They talk about the previous masquerade ball hosted in Genoa City. Nikki changes the subject to Tucker and inquires with Michael on any developments in the acquisition of McCall. Nikki continues to talk about the conflict between Victoria and Adam and expresses disappointment in Victor's ambitions. She requests Michael's assistance in stopping this. He informs her that he has no desire to participate in this drama.
