Y&R Recap for March 2, 2023: Devon and Lily Have An Epic Fight

In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 2, 2023, Lily decides to play dirty, Abby tries to keep the peace, and Victoria puts Nate in an awkward position.





Nate and Audra talk music and go over their content development strategies just as Victori walks in. She wants to steal Nate for a minute so Audra leaves to get coffee at Crimson Lights. Victoria advises her to take her time because they have a lot to do. Nate and Victoria strategize and then asks him if everything is okay. He says no and wants to talk about what is going on between them. Nate notes that he is in love with Elena despite crossing the line two times. Victoria says she is unencumbered and is free to get involved with whomever she wants but it's not the same for him. She implores him to figure out what he wants because whatever happens is entirely up to him. Nate loves Elena and doesn't want to hurt her the way he and her hurt Devon. Victoria calls it admirable. Victoria asks him if the kiss was good. They agree to keep their kisses a secret and do things on a professional level from now on. 

Nate notes that he admires Victoria but is sticking with Elena. Audra storms in to tell them that Tucker wants to sell his company to Devon. Victoria is now more convinced that Ashley is all behind it. Victoria advises Nate to go relay some bad news to Devon. She wants him to sabotage Devon's purchase of McCall Unlimited. 





Tucker approaches Ashley for a kiss but stops himself noting that it wouldn't be right. He says his show of self-restraint is due to Ashley calling the shots. Ashley tells him that she spoke with Victor and Victoria and they accused her of purchasing his debt. She reveals that they are very anxious to get their hands on his company. They talk about how beneficial selling to the Newmans would be but Tucker would rather stick to his deal with Ashley. 










Devon runs into Lily at Society. He lashes out at Lily for hiring Amanda to represent her in the legal battle against him. Lily says, "so you wanted a war - this is it". Lily advises Devon that in the end, he will walk away with nothing. She tells him that if he goes down this path, he will regret it. He in turn says, he is happy that Neil isn't around to see who she turned into. As their argument gets heated, Abby walks in. She stands afar off and listens as the siblings heatedly bicker. Abby walks over and tells them she will have to ask them to leave if they can't keep it down. 








At Crimson Lights, Audra runs into Elena who asks her how she is settling in at Newman Media. Audra highlights how much she enjoys working with Nate. She also highlights that as close she and Nate her it doesn't compare to his connection to Victoria. Elena notes that the two have always been friends. Audra notes that maybe the two were destined to be business partners. Audra says that Nate may be in charge of one division now but it is pretty clear that Victoria has much bigger plans for him. Audra says Victoria must see something in Nate to give him so much one on one attention. 

As Elena leaves, Tucker walks over to talk with Audra. She still wants to know who bought his debut but he refuses to tell. Tucker asks about the fight between his son and Lily and Audra questions him if he's offering his company to Devon to which he notes he already did. 




Devon and Abby discuss Lily hiring Amanda to represent her. Abby wonders if Devon is worried about having to face Amanda again. Abby advises Devon that maybe he should take the deal with Tucker. Lily shares with Daniel that she is mortified to have an argument like that in public. She doesn't know how much more of it she can take. Tucker calls Ashley with an update.
