In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 21, 2023, Victor presents Jill with an intriguing offer, Audra pushes Elena’s buttons, and Devon is backed into a corner.

While Lily watches, Amanda and Devon begin arguing. His shouts of "Loyalty to Neil" are dismissed by her as a joke. Devon and Christine go inside the Judge's chambers after Christine arrived. She cautions him not to fall for Amanda's rattling technique. A mediator shows up and Christine begins by repeating the cliché that "Devon founded this company with his dad," adding that he was misled by Lily and Jill into believing that this was a family-run company since they had just about settled in when Jill and Lily decided to go public with an IPO. They both used his intense love for and need for the family before backing out as soon as they could. Amanda claims that Devon intends to break his contract and could harm Chancellor Industries permanently. His motivations for merging are irrelevant. She continues to make Devon uncomfortable.
Lily explains to Amanda during a recess that she pursued Devon both professionally and emotionally and doesn't like it. She doesn't believe that this is the best course of action. Amanda is attempting to persuade her to reconsider. She acknowledges that she benefits from their relationship, and he ought to have considered this before cheating on her. Devon acknowledges to Christine that he finds it very difficult to remain silent in the face of all Amanda is saying about him. Christine expresses concern that he might blow during the arbitration.
When Nate enters Victoria's office, he finds that she is all business while he wants to talk. He wishes to talk about what occurred the other night. She is beaming and sincerely sorry. They both chuckle when he doesn't believe it. He was asked to her suite since she talks about chemistry. She assures him that she respects his decision. Victoria and Nate talk business. He talks about how he regrets dividing his family. She believes he can mend this gap. She tells him that she genuinely admires his sense of morality.
Elena runs into Audra when she knocks on Nate's door. She is invited to join Audra for coffee. Elena hopes that Audra doesn't think that she is jealous or insecure. When they get to talking about Nate and Victoria, Audra says that she believes their relationship goes further than just being employer and employee. There must be a lot more going on, she senses. Elena respects her candor and wonders if she is right. Although there appears to be a physical attraction, Audra is unsure if anything physical has yet taken place. Elena acknowledges that they cheated on their ex-partners to begin their connection.
Audra offers to give her a suggestion on how to reverse the situation. She talks about Victoria's previous relationships and focuses on JT, who was Vicky's one true love. They talk about J.T. and trade information. JT is no longer in jail. She suggests that Elena exploits JT's life and health problems in her medical podcast. Even if it meant reuniting JT with Victoria, Elena hesitates because she doesn't want to take advantage of him. Elena confesses that getting Victoria to stop thinking about Nate is alluring, and she is highly interested in highlighting the difficulties associated with a brain tumor on her podcast. The drawback is that she doesn't enjoy playing with other people's emotions. Audra acknowledges that it was just a notion.
Arriving at Victor's place is Jill. He wants to talk about Devon's struggle. In essence, she is telling him that she will decide what happens and that she likes her firm just the way it is. Victor brings up Katherine to try and get through to Jill. Devon is playing a bad hand and has little chance of winning, she informs Victor. Victor concurs but gives her another option. She will enjoy what he is about to suggest as he explains why going public was the wrong course of action. She loves to maintain control, he says, but going public is primarily about getting money. He mentions finding individual investors. The investors would formally guarantee not to participate. She believes he is referring to himself. He uses Devon's friendship with Abby to persuade her that all he really wants is for his grandchild to carry on Neil and Devon's legacy.
