As Genoa City gathers to celebrate Genoa City’s bicentennial, Victor and Nikki pay tribute to the past, and Leanna Love returns to her former stomping grounds.
Pictures are being taken of the brothers along with their dates. Nick is surprised to see Sharon and Adam together, but she and Sally compliment each other on their attire. Sharon suggests they go inside to have some champagne after they snap some group photos. She awkwardly apologizes to Sally.
Billy and Chelsea meet at Crimson Lights. She's running behind schedule and unsure of what to wear to the gala. She says she believes she won't be able to accompany him to the gala. He offers to stay at home and watch a movie with no obligation as they converse while she drinks tea. As she stops him and tells him that she believes it could be better for her mental health to make an attempt to face her anxieties and stay strong, he is ready to tell Jack that he isn't going when she interrupts him. Billy reassures her that she doesn't have to push herself if she's not ready. She decides that she's ready.
Jack and Diane arrive. They can hear Leanna Love entering. She is there to document the occasion. Leanna is warned by Diane that the other guests won't be pleased to see her. Leanna notes that she is there to record some of the juicy things that will take place and that she might perhaps publish another book. Jack and Diane fear that she will sabotage their announcement. To avoid giving away the surprise, Diane hands Jack her ring, which he then places in his coat pocket. Phillis arrives alone, behind them.
Nikki and Michael give each other high fives for organizing everything. Nikki inquires once more about Lauren. During a chat with Sally, Victoria notes that she is failing to conceal her pregnancy. She advises her to wear her mask if she is truly concerned. Nicholas cheers on his date. They are greeted by Nikki, who says there will be some surprises for them.
After making fun of Ashley and Tucker's choice of dates, Victor demands that Tucker sell his business to him. Tucker informs him that he is negotiating a deal with Devon. Victor bids him well and then turns to go.
Upon their arrival, Mamie and Tracy express their delight and admiration for everything. She approaches Jill, and the animosity between them is still palpable. Mamie informs her that the million she received from Jill eventually increased to ten million. Following some back and forth, Jills asks whether they could let the past go, and Mamie replies, "I don't think so," as she leaves.
A masked Jeremy enters a hotel room and leaves behind a bottle of liquid and a gold woman's mask, Jeremy takes out his phone and texts Phyllis, "Tonight it all ends — for good."
Phyllis enters the gala and awkwardly greets Lily and Daniel. She inquires as to whether he would be willing to hold back his agitation and whether he would still like to be angry with her. She praises his character to Lily. Lily and Daniel remain silent the entire time. Daniel apologizes on behalf of his mother as she departs.
As Mamie approaches, Jack, Diane, Kyle, and Summer are chatting. Introducing her to his children and his wife makes Jack pleased. Mamie commends Kyle's mother for raising her son well. As they prepare to enter the lounge, Traci makes a suggestion that she believes she is aware of the surprise. She lags behind Summer and they laugh joyfully together. Phyllis approaches Summer and Traci while sobbing once more.
Traci and Summer express concern. Phyllis tells Summer that she wants her to know how proud she is of the mother and woman she has grown into and that no matter what happens, she should always keep that in mind. She embraces her before leaving. Traci is concerned about Phyllis' odd conduct and the desperate tone in her speech.
At the back of the room, Phyllis observes Victor as he delivers his own speech. Neil and Katherine are mentioned. Abby is asked to present something special. She introduces the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge as the new moniker for the Athletic Club lounge and begins talking about Neil. At the conclusion, Phyllis removes her mask and walks away. While Devon watches and Victor speaks about how Neil would want the gap between brother and sister to be closed and the connection restored, Lily steps up to thank Victor for the honor.
Devon is approached by Jill who expresses her continued admiration for both the new lounge and Neil's photo. He inquires as to whether Victor played any role in her decision to change her mind regarding the IPO. Victor is one of his biggest supporters, she informs him.
Reminiscing are Mamie and Lily. Nate approaches her to say hello. Mamie enquires as to whether they can all meet together to catch up. She moves on. Nate is informed by Lily that she will set up a time for them to meet. Elena is still busy at the hospital. Nate thinks that this experience may aid in mending her and Devon's relationship. That's none of his business, she informs him.
Leanna stands there while Mamie and Ashley catch up. She is told to leave by an irate Ashely. Victor approaches and explains that she wasn't invited. Jill joins the group that wants to despise Leanna. Devon is suspecting Victor's involvement and Jill warns him. Lily approaches and wonders if they can repair things as Devon raises a glass to his photo of Neil.
Nate and Victoria toast each other while talking about the surprise. Nate mentions his desire for his family to live in peace once more, and just as Elena enters, she lays her palm over his. Elena is approached by Audra, who informs her that Victoria doesn't appear to be wasting any time.
Phyllis and Jeremy enter the room. She's still acting a little reserved and quiet. The strategy is still in place, she assures Jeremy. Perhaps they shouldn't reveal their news right away, Diane suggests to Jack. He concurs. They decide to hold off until the next day.
