In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 27, 2023, Victor and Nikki celebrate a success, Jill works to repair Devon and Lily’s relationship, and Jack is shocked by a party crasher’s arrival at the gala.
Couples are dancing. Lauren and Michael talk about Jack and Diane and how shocked they are that Jack let Diane back into his life. Michael believes they look great together as Lauren notes that if Phyllis walked in and saw them together, all hell would break loose.
Upstairs, Phyllis and Jeremy discuss obtaining Diane's engagement ring. With Jack putting the ring in his pocket, Phyllis doesn't believe it is possible. Jeremy instructs her to leave it to him before donning his mask.
Victor and Nikki talk about how things are going at the gala. Nikki says it's not too late to save Jack from Diane.
Victoria appears to be moving quickly, Audra tells Elena. Elena orders her to stop and departs so that she can meet Nate. Nate receives plenty of kisses in front of Victoria as she creeps in on him. She queries him about what she missed after Victoria departs. They talk about the conflict between Devon and Lily in the family. Later, Elena notices him glancing at Victoria when Victoria is speaking to Adam and Victor. She advises him to leave if he's interested in what they're talking about. She departs to socialize.
Chelsea and Billy show up. He reassures her that he is always there for her if she ever feels too overwhelmed and that they can leave at any time if she needs to. They sit and discuss gaming and their ideas when Daniel drops by. Afterward, Jill appears and informs him that she has heard positive things about his life. He enjoys how complimentary she is. She explains that she unloaded on Tucker as the reason why. Jill realizes that Chelsea and Billy must be dating. Jill wishes him luck and lets them continue.
Devon states again that he doesn't think he can ever again collaborate with Lily. She begs him to aid in mending their rupture. He inquires as to her knowledge of Victor's role in persuading Jill to change her decision. Lily claims that it is irrelevant. She informs him that the problematic individuals have left, allowing them to finally collaborate while managing separate divisions of the business. He is unsure of how to interact with someone who deliberately tried to offend him. She expresses her regrets. He acknowledges that he ought to have expressed his opinions on the merger more honestly. She pleads with him not to let this be the thing that separates them, recalling how close they have always been and how they have always stood together. Lily cries and begs forgiveness. They hug as they reconcile.
Now seated at a table, Michael, Lauren, and Jill enjoy laughing together. As she descends the steps, Leanna focuses on Jack and Diane. She congratulates them on their victory. Leanna explains that the information she was seeking was regarding their reunion. Leanna congratulates Diane on her second opportunity and praises Jack as a wonderful lover. Leana leaves.
Victoria, Ashley, and Tucker are seated side by side. Victoria enquires about his plans for the business. She is informed that he wishes to sell to Devon. She questions Ashley's perspective. Tucker's sarcasm ends the conversation, and the pair leaves to restock their beverages. Victor approaches Victoria and inquires as to what the matter was.
Adam is handling himself perfectly fine, according to Sharon. He turns to face his sister and blames the drink. Sitting in lounge chairs, Victor and Victoria discuss how Tucker seems to have lost his edge. Adam approaches and inquires whether they are discussing McCall. She informs him that it is not his concern. Adam says that they are both interested in McCall for various reasons. She assures him that he will not be gaining control of the business.
After turning and adjusting his socks on the bottom step, a masked Jeremy enters the ballroom. He watches the couples dance after the run-in with Kyle. As Jeremy walks by Jack, he goes into his pocket and appears to have taken the ring because his hand immediately shut after taking it out. Jack and Diane both wonder if that was Jeremy.
When Christine arrives, Michael and Lauren welcome her. Paul couldn't be there because he's in Portugal, she reveals. Michael inquires as to the status of the arbitration; she replies that once everything has been resolved, she would reapply for her old position as District Attorney. Sharon shows baby images of her new granddaughter during a later chat with Christine. Nikki enthuses about the baby as she peers over Sharon's shoulder, joins them on the chair, and welcomes her to the grandparents' club.
To determine whether the man was Jeremy, Jack wants to pursue him. She is informed that he will speak with security personnel before returning to look for her. When she turns around, Phyllis is there. She is informed by Phyllis that Kyle is seriously ill and would require his mother's comfort. Phyllis claims she needs Diane's assistance persuading him to get medical attention. Diane sends Kyle a text to check on him. The text reaches Jeremy (who stole Kyle's phone earlier when they bumped into each other). No one replies to the text, and Phyllis informs Diane that it is likely because he is unconscious. She suggests that Diane go alone to the suite.
Victor departs after informing them that they must learn to cooperate. Victoria and Adam exchange glances before parting ways. She approaches Nate. When Audra asks Elena if she's ready to talk about the podcast and finds her drinking by herself, Elena agrees to conduct the J.T.-focused podcast.
Returning to their table, Kyle and Summer are prepared for coffee and dessert. When Daniel arrives, she is asked when she last saw her mother. When Summer asks why, he responds by telling her about their most recent chat, to which she replies that it was also the same for her. She thought it was moving, he thought it was odd. He worries that he may have treated her too harshly. They needed to establish some limits, according to Kyle. Summer expresses her hope that they didn't worsen the situation. Leanna is in the foyer when she observes Diane and Phyllis ascending the stairs.
