In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 28, 2023, Victor seizes an opportunity to strike a deal with Jill, Christine reunites with Nina, and Phyllis and Diane’s feud reaches its breaking point.
Jill is oh so relieved to learn that Devon and Lily are on the right track again. Devon reveals he is dropping the lawsuit and will not be fighting the merger. Jill wants to celebrate but Devon says there are a few more issues even though they have reconciled their sibling relationship. He notes they have a lot to still figure out. Jill thanks him for agreeing to end the hideous chapter as they share a cheer for a new one. Lily and Devon admire Neil's portrait and note how much they miss him.
Across the room, Nate notices how Devon and Lily are smiling at each other again. Elena says if they can reconcile there is hope for others. Nate wants to take Elena home but first asks her for a dance.
Adam shares with Sharon how things went with Victoria and his father. He calls his sister jealous. They decide to forget family issues and focus more on the gala. Adam assumes Sharon is waiting for Chance to get her kick on the dance floor. He offers to be her wingman if she needs one. She then makes it clear that she and Chance are just friends.
Nick and Sally share a dance on the dance floor while Nikki looks on with an unhappy look. Nikki sits with Victor who questions Esther about how she is enjoying the gala. She remembers Katherine who would've enjoyed the gala. They have a drink and cheer to Mrs. C.

Summer and Daniel wonder what is really going on with their mother. Daniel leaves to go find Phyllis. Jack comes by and tells them he has a feeling the man he ran into earlier was Jeremy Stark. Kyle asks for Diane and Jack says he wishes he knew where she was.
Kyle runs into Traci and asks if she has seen his mom. She says no but if she does, she will let her know that he's looking for her. Leanna comes down the stairs and approaches Kyle with the information that Diane went upstairs after a chat with Phyllis. Kyle updates Summer about what Leanna said. Jack and Kyle come up with nothing. But Summer notes that she found a room registered to her mom. They decide to rush up there.
Diane goes searching for Kyle. Phyllis comes to the suite and Diane tells her to get out of her way but Phyllis refuses to. Diane calls out Phyllis for luring her upstairs with the lie that Kyle was sick. She attempts to leave but Phyllis pushes her down letting her know that she will not leave until she says so. They get into a heated argument. Diane attempts to leave again. Phyllis grabs her by the arm. Diane slaps Phyllis and they get into a physical fight. Jack, Kyle and Summer are stunned to open the door and see Diane strangling Phyllis.
Billy tells Jack that this is by far the best bicentennial gala he has seen. Chelsea notes that Billy is happy to return to Jabot. Jack rushes off because there is something he needs to handle. Leana approaches and is happy to see Billy. She introduces herself to Chelsea and suggests that they talk since there is much for Chelsea to say. Leanna questions Chelsea, Chloe rushes in and stops Leana. Billy tells her that the room is full of people and she should go find someone else to annoy. Chelsea storms out in tears. Billy rushes after her.
Christine applauds Nikki for pulling off such an amazing gala. In the absence of Nikki, Nina reunites with Christine at the bar. They hug as they celebrate her return to town. Nina is excited to see everybody, especially her grandson although Chance is busy with work. She asks Christine about Paul and is told that he is enjoying some time with his family in Portugal.
Nina reconnects with Traci. Nina spies Abby having a laugh with Daniel at the bar. Traci asks ger about work and if she's writing anything new. Nina says yes and that it's about an overprotective mother who is obsessed with her son who on the most exciting night of the year decided to skip the party because he is afraid of running into the last woman he loved. Nina worries that Chance skipped the gala to avoid Abby. Nina decides to go have a talk with Abby. She walks over and asks Daniel to excuse them so that she can have a private chat with Abby. Nina blasts Abby for breaking her son's heart.
Jill updates Victor. Devon tells Abby about his reconciliation with his sister. Lily tells Daniel her good news about her brother forgiving her and them moving on.
