Y&R Recap for March 3, 2023: Jack Asks Diane to Marry Him

In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 3, 2023, Phyllis receives a disturbing message, Mariah shares surprising news with Sharon, and Nick makes a promise to Sally.







Drunken Phyllis in the Grand Phoenix lobby. She calls Summer but gets voicemail. She also calls Daniel and gets voicemail. Michael and Lauren come in and spot her and weigh their minds on leaving but instead approach her and ask if she's ok to which she notes that her world is falling apart. Michael gets something for them to eat as Lauren questions Phyllis about her problems. Phyllis notes that she is so tired of her children blaming her. Phyllis lashes out at Michael for being friends with Diane. Phyllis notes that she wants Diane dead now. Phyllis walks out and Lauren tells Michael to go after her. Lauren notes that it has been quite a while since she has seen Phyllis like that and it really scares her. 

At Crimson Lights, Mariah is back and reunites with Sharon. She updates Sharon on motherhood saying that the baby was born and is adorable as ever. Mariah and Sharon look at photos of the baby as Adam quietly walks in. He congratulates Mairah on motherhood. Mariah gets a call and steps away. Adam says he should leave as well, but Sharon implores him to stay. He would rather leave so Sharon realizes that something is up and questions him about it. He tells her that Sally is pregnant and he's the father. Sharon doesn't have much of a reaction which makes Adam believes that she already knew and didn't tell him. Sharon confirms that she knew about the pregnancy from Sally but didn't know who the father was. Mariah returns and questions her mother about her talk with Adam. Sharon then asks if they came up with a name for the baby and Maraih says not yet. 

Sally calls Nick. He needs a minute to wrap up some work but she tells him that she's not feeling well, she's having a splitting headache and is worried for the baby. He advises her to call the doctor and he will make his way over there. Nick arrives and Sally updates him on what the doctor said. Sally apologizes for calling him for something that was probably simple but he says she did the right thing. Adam comes by to visit. He is there to check on her but she notes that he doesn't necessarily need to check-in. Adam apologizes but would like to be a part of some of the doctor appointments and ultrasounds. Sally tells that he will think about it then he leaves. Nick advises Sally to be careful where Adam is concerned. He says the more involved Adam is will be the harder it would be for him to let go.

At the Cabin, Jack and Diane enjoy their romantic getaway. Jack says they can stay there indefinitely - they can move there. He shares that they could go on endless adventures around the world but Diane reminds him that they have plenty of reasons to return home. Diane says they just need to find a way to deal with Jeremy and his threats. There's a noise outside frightening Diane. Jack opens the door and finds that a tree branch fell. Jack doesn't want them to talk about Jeremy anymore. They exchange "I Love You" and Jack asks Diane to marry him.






Adam returns to Crimson Lights and tells Sharon that he is trying hard to handle everything with class but is not sure he can. Phyllis wakes up on a couch where she sees Jeremy who says to her, "You're lucky to be alive".
