In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for March 31, 2023, Victor is suspicious of Phyllis, Devon and Amanda discuss unfinished business, and Tucker keeps Ashley on her toes.




Sharon asks Adam if he's worried about the baby. He says yes and leaves. Nick and Sally go to Crimson Lights to get something to eat. They talk and laugh just as Adam steps in. He is there to find out if she and the baby are okay. He opts to leave once he finds out they are okay. Sally suggests that he could stay since they have to get accustomed to their new normal. Nick gets a text from Summer saying, "Something's happened to mom. Meet us at the hospital." He tells them that Summer needs him and leaves. 






Phyllis has a meltdown. Daniel wants her to take it easy and maybe leave but she refuses as she shed tears and blames all of her troubles on Diane. Danny tries to get Phyllis to agree to go outside to get some fresh air but she doesn't want to. She starts gasping and Summer worries about her mom who says that she's fine. Diane says that she's obviously drunk so she should go home and sleep it off. Jeremy Stark dons his mask and watches from the staircase. Phyllis goes on and on about Diane until she collapses. 





Gina thinks Phyllis is faking but Christine doesn't agree. Victor says that something is way off. He tells Nikki to keep him informed as he steps away to make some calls. 






Amanda lashes out when she runs into Devon and Abby. She wants to leave but Devon begs her for a moment to have a peaceful conversation. Amanda is reluctant and Abby tries to encourage her for the sake of closure. Amanda agrees to hear Devon out for three minutes. Abby leaves to give them privacy. Devon invites Amanda to the bar. 





Abby remembers the day Amanda caught her and Devon. She also remembers her recent run-in with Amanda at Crimson Lights. 




A stunned Ashley returns home with Tucker. Ashley is mad that Traci knew about the engagement and didn't tell her. Ashley is convinced that Diane played Jack perfectly to get everything she wanted. Tucker thinks Diane and Jack look happy. He wonders if the two found true love. Ashley disagrees. He is hopeful that with Jack and Diane finding a second chance, maybe they can too. Ashley shares that she will be damned if Diane ever becomes a member of the Abbott family. Tucker makes an outrageous suggestion that Ashley should marry him. 





Nate tells Elena he could dance with her all night long. Nate and Elena spy Amanda and Devon talking at the bar. Devon informs Amanda that he dropped the lawsuit against Lily. He notes that he never intended to hurt Amanda. He makes mention that he is profoundly sorry. She promises that she will heal someday as Lily watches them. Lily approaches. She notes that she saw them being civil. Devon shares that now that the lawsuit is off the table, maybe Amanda can go back to her family. She agrees but notes that she feels like she also has family in GC. Victoria rushes in and summons Nate noting that Phyllis collapsed and they need a doctor. Elena says the EMT needs to hurry because she can barely feel a pulse from Phyllis. Nate says her vitals are deteriorating and they need to get her to the hospital as soon as possible. 






A stretcher is used to transport Phyllis. Diane wonders where Phyllis acquired her ring after noticing that it is in her hand. Jack remembers when Stark bumped into him earlier and he is certain that Stark stole the ring out of his pocket and gave it to Phyllis. Stark greets Nikki as he descends the stairs, but she points out that he wasn't invited. He claims he is there as a plus one. When Phyllis is seen lying on a stretcher, he turns around and exclaims, "What the hell happened?" Phyllis is taken to the hospital. Daniel and Summer depart to visit their mother. Jeremy Stark reveals that Phyllis is his wife. They have been married for three days. Traci asks why Phyllis didn't tell her family and friends. Jeremy replies that Phyllis no longer has any family or friends because everyone has turned their backs on her.
