On Days of Our Lives for April 26, 2023: Rafe and Jade question Talia and Chanel about the drugged biscuits, Talia sneaks off for a secret meeting, Melinda angrily rips into Sloan, and Gabi and Stefan square off against EJ and Nicole.

While Gabi and Stefan are enjoying their reunion in bed, EJ is downstairs thinking about overhearing Nicole on the phone. She comes into the parlor and asks what he was thinking about and he deflects to Gabi and Stefan being very loud the night before. EJ suggests that he should kick her out just as Stefan comes down and reminds him that his name is on the deed so EJ can't do that.

Stefan informs EJ that he has hired Gabi. EJ reminds him that any executive hire requires the approval of both CEOs. Stefan tells him that he hired her as a consultant. In retaliation, EJ hires Nicole as a consultant as well. Later he thanks her for going along with his plan. Gabi and Stefan come back downstairs and suggest that they all carpool to work.

Eric and Sloan are enjoying their breakfast at the pub when Melinda comes in and blasts Sloan for being behind the drugged biscuits. She tells her that she, herself was drugged, as was Rafe and she has angered many powerful people with what she did. Eric jumps to Sloan's defense and tells Melinda that he and Sloan were together all night when the biscuits were drugged. After she leaves Sloan wonders if whoever drugged the biscuits is out to get Chanel or her.

Chanel vents her frustrations to Talia about no one wanting to buy any of their baked goods, or even take a free sample! She tells her that she understands if she has to find other work because she has no money to pay her. Talia tells her that she will work for free because she believes in Chanel and her bakery. When Paulina shows up Chanel is upset when she hesitates to eat a bear claw.

Paulina feels bad and tries to take it but the damage is done. She tries to assure her daughter that she is on her side and believes in her and her business. Chanel gets a call from Jada, asking her and Talia to go down to the station to go over the timeline again. Paulina stays in the square to help out with the bakery.

Abe blasts Rafe and Jada for not arresting Sloan for drugging the biscuits. They explain to him that they don't have enough evidence but promise they are working hard on the case. After he leaves Jada calls Chanel and asks her and Talia to come down to the station. When they get there Jada questions Chanel and Rafe questions Talia.

After Chanel leaves Melinda shows up and asks for an update. She warns them that Eric is providing Sloan an alibi so their evidence better be strong enough to overcome that. Talia listens from around a corner before leaving. When Melinda leaves, Jada and Rafe compare notes on the timeline and Jada realizes that her sister lied to Rafe about her whereabouts!

Abe sees Paulina in the square and she makes him eat a cookie to prove to people that they're safe. When Chanel comes back to close up Paulina tells her that she wants to cook dinner for her and Talia. Chanel thanks her but says she already sent Talia home. Meanwhile, Talia shows up at a hotel and knocks on a door. She smiles when it opens and a handsome man pulls her into the room and kisses her passionately!
