On today’s General Hospital recap for April 12, 2023:Valentin is frantic; Dante reaches a grim conclusion; Cody is desperate; Gladys fishes for information; and Felicia and Laura put their heads together.
Gladys shows up at the PCPD to make her statement but Dante tells her to come back later because they're very busy. She complains to Jordan who tells her that she can wait but it will be a while before anyone can get to her. Dante goes into the interrogation room to talk to Cody and asks him if he ever plans to grow up.
Cody proclaims his innocence and Dante suggests he call Mac. Cody tells him that he already called someone and helps on the way as Sam walks into the room. She tells Dante that Cody called her and that he should go back to work on the Victor case and let her handle Cody's situation. Once they're alone Cody asks Sam to bail him out and tells her that he's being set up by Gladys.
Cody tells her that he can't give her details about the trouble Gladys is in and she thinks he's being threatened but he tells her it's Sasha he's worried about. Sam tells him that she has no reason to trust him and he tells her that Dante trusts him. After she leaves Sam tells Gladys that Cody's going to make bail and Gladys can't believe she bought Cody's act. She glares at Cody who stares right back at her.
Carly goes to Josslyn's dorm to catch her up to speed on Liesel's disappearance and Willow's transplant. They also talk about Sonny knowing about Joss and Dex and Dex saving Sonny's life. Carly's upset that Josslyn didn't tell her and is concerned about her daughter being with someone who gets shot and Joss not telling her about it.
Joss is worried about Willow and Carly tells her that they have to prepare themselves for the worst. They agree to go over to Michael and Willow's together to offer their support but when they go to leave Dante is there asking if Joss has seen Trina. They figure out that Trina's missing and worry that Victor may have her as well.
Sasha and Brook Lynn visit with Willow and Michael and Michael leaves them alone when he goes to call Dante. Sasha promises her that they will never let her children forget her and Willow tells them that she needs their help with finding a way to help Michael accept that she might die. She wants to move up the wedding but doesn't want him to think she's giving up hope. Sasha and Brook Lynn assure her that they'll help her and that Michael will understand as he walks back into the room and asks what he'll understand.
Trina tells Spencer that she's found a way for them to get off the ship. She found a communications room on the plans and thinks she can get to it and radio for help. They are discussing the plan when they hear Victor talking to his henchman outside. Trina hides under the bed and when Victor comes into the room Spencer comes out, wet and in a towel, pretending he was in the shower.
Victor and Spencer argue and Victor warns him that he doesn't want to cross him the way that Valentin did. Spencer argues with him more to try to distract him from Trina's purse on the floor and Victor suggests they order breakfast and talk. Spencer wants to eat in the dining room and when Victor puts him off Spencer asks if Victor's afraid of him in a threatening manner.
Victor relents and agrees to let him eat in the dining room. Victor leaves to make the arrangements and Trina and Spencer agree that they have a plan. Spencer wants to tell her what she means to him in case something goes wrong but she cuts him off with a kiss and tells him that this isn't the end for them.
Valentin is desperate for information on Anna but Portia tells him there isn't any yet. He refuses to accept that and badgers her until Curtis steps in and tells him to back off of his wife. Laura and Felica comfort Valentin until they get word that Anna is out of surgery. Portia tells Valentin he can sit with her and thanks Curtis for coming to her defense.
Laura and Felicia put their heads together and try to figure out where Victor is going. Laura remembers a property that the Cassadines own in Venezuela that's only accessible by boat. Laura's worried about how they would get in, and out, of the country and Felicia tells her that she knows someone who can help them.
Curtis asks Portia if she's heard from Trina and they both try to contact her. Portia's worried when she sees the texts aren't getting delivered and is terrified when Jordan and Dante approach them in the hospital with grim expressions. Valentin sits with Anna and begs her to wake up, praying and vowing to her that Victor will pay for what he's done. As he's talking to her, Anna opens her eyes!
