Y&R Recap for April 27, 2023: Phyllis Makes A Killer Confession

In today's recap of The Young and the Restless for April 27, 2023: Victoria questions Nick’s loyalty, Nate covers his tracks, and Phyllis pleads her case.

 



When Summer first sees Phyllis, she is shocked. She implores her to confirm that it is her. Phyllis refuses to let Summer tell Daniel what she wants. She contacted Summer because she is sure that Summer is the one person she can trust. Phyllis refuses to go home with Summer despite Summer's request. She hears from Phyllis about her failed attempt at exacting revenge on Diane. She says Stark threatened to kill her and was about to do so. Summer realizes that Diane is innocent.












Although she acknowledges that she is the reason that Stark is dead, she believes that her mother ought to come back home with her and make things right. Summer finds it difficult to believe what Phyllis tells her about the entire incident. Summer wants to call the police, but Phyllis counters that nobody should ever know. She asks Summer to allow her time to think of a strategy and vows to always love her no matter what she chooses.














Nate informs Audra that he will be leaving town on business. While he is away, he wants her to manage things at the company. She wishes to accompany him, but he says that Victoria is traveling with him. Audra recommends going with him on the subsequent journey. She also proposes he take Elena, but he didn't want to suggest it to Victoria out of the blue.










At Crimson Lights, Nate meets Elena. He informs her that he must leave for home and pack because of a business trip, but that when he returns, he hopes to take her on a romantic getaway. He tells her he's traveling alone, which is a lie. He goes to pack up. Audra calls Elena as they talk about Nate's trip. Suddenly Elena has faith in him again.











Victoria and Nick meet at the office. Victor wanted him to go work with Adam at McCall Unlimited, he explains to her. Victoria and Nick talk about the impending child. She requests that Nick run Newman while she is away in Los Angeles. Nick discovers Victoria is traveling with Nate. She begs him to leave it alone because she knows what she is doing while he attempts to offer some guidance. She tells him not to get involved because it is not his concern.














Michael gives Jack some news. According to his source, it appears that Stark was murdered. Jack states that at least he won't be able to testify against her as Michael says he also can't exonerate her. Given that he would have had numerous adversaries, Jack hypothesizes that the person who killed Stark and Phyllis might have been the same person. Michael and Jack concur that they are both seeking justice for Phyllis and Diane's release.

 






Jack pays Diane another visit. He has some news that he thinks could get her out of there. Jack proposes that Diane marry him now and seal the deal before the trial.
