On Days of Our Lives for May 8, 2023: Nicole reels from Kayla's stunning news, EJ reveals to Nicole he knows she slept with Eric, Kate's captor is revealed, and Gabi and Stefan scheme behind EJ and Nicole's backs.

EJ blasts Gabi for not telling him that Nicole had to go to the hospital right off the bat but she's dismissive, telling him that she's not even sure it was real. He's incredulous when he finds out that Nicole is still there and that Gabi didn't wait with her and grabs her arm. Stefan comes in and tells his brother to let her go. 

EJ storms out to go to the hospital and Gabi tells Stefan about what happened with Nicole. They realize that Nicole left her laptop there and Gabi remembers Nicole's password. They access the performance review that Nicole wrote about Stefan and rewrite it so that it praises him instead. 

Nicole and Kayla discuss her pregnancy and the issues she has had in the past. Nicole admits to Kayla that she doesn't know who the father is and they discuss the options for determining paternity. EJ comes in and surprises Nicole. She asks Kayla to give them a moment to talk and EJ tells her about his conversation with Sloan and confrontation with Eric. 

Nicole tries to lie but EJ tells her that Eric confirmed that they slept together when they were drugged. He tells her that he forgives her and wishes she had just told him but he understands why she didn't think she could. He expresses concern for what is going on with her medically and she lies again, telling him that she is going into menopause. EJ assures her that nothing will change how he sees or desires her.

At the pub, Marlena is concerned when she sees Eric's injuries. He tells her about sleeping with Nicole and his confrontation with EJ and Marlena questions if it's really the drugs that made him and Nicole have sex. Eric dismisses her concerns but does agree to let her take him to the hospital for stitches.

At the hospital, they run into Kayla and Eric greets her happily. They talk about Bo, Hope and Kate and Kayla accidentally drops Nicole's file on the floor. Eric starts to pick it up but Kayla stops him and tells him that it's a confidential patient file and she should get it herself. Marlena takes him to her office to wait for a doctor to be available to do his stitches. After he gets them he has an uncomfortable run-in with EJ in front of the elevator. EJ lies to him that he is there to get his hand checked out and doesn't tell him about Nicole.

Roman goes to Chad's hotel room and Chad breaks the news to him that Harris is helping with the search for Kate. Roman doesn't like it and doesn't trust him but realizes he has no choice and that they need the help so he accepts it.

Kate is shocked to find out that her captor is Dimitri von Leuschner aka/corrupt ISA agent Kyle Graham. They talk about his former relationship with her daughter Billie, and Kate demands to know why he's holding her. He tells her that he needs her to get his demands met and she tells him to call Roman or Chad. He tells her that's not going to happen until he's ready and when she refuses to be civil, Dimitri opens the door and tells her she can go back to cleaning fish.

Tomorrow, Colin is pleased to learn Talia is making progress with Chanel, so he turns his focus towards Paulina and more! Watch Days weekdays on Peacock!
