Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for May 26, 2023: Anna's Baby Bomb Backfires!



Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on May 26, 2023: Gabi and Stefan celebrate impending nuptials. Anna lies to Tony about Nicole's secret. Nicole asks Kayla about a paternity test. EJ is surprised to find Megan in his home. 



Days of Our Lives Episode Recap for May 26, 2023: Anna's Baby Bomb Backfires! 




Gabi and Stefan are celebrating their engagement in the Square when Kristen comes up to them and announces that she is free and she is back. Gabi rips into her for keeping the fact that Stefan was alive from her until Stefan stops her and quietly reminds her that Kristen has voting shares in DiMera and can be an important ally. Gabi relents and begrudgingly apologizes to Kristen. Kristen tells Stefan that she wants him to let her move back into the mansion and they all head home.





Brady and Marlena are talking about Kristen when Eric shows up and tells them about Sloan's brother being the one behind the issues Chanel and Paulina were having and that Sloan was cleared of all involvement. He tells them that Sloan's brother is pressuring her to be his lawyer and he wants to do something to cheer her up. Eric asks Marlena to allow him to plan a dinner for them all so they can get to know Sloan and invites Brady as well. 





Brady and Marlena agree to the dinner and after Eric leaves Marlena tells Brady that they need to be supportive of Eric and his relationship unless they find a reason they shouldn't be. He agrees to go along with that. Later he gets a call from Kristen telling him that she is moving back into the DiMera mansion.





At the hospital, Nicole asks Kayla about the paternity test and Kayla tells her that she will need a cheek swab from at least one of the potential fathers. Nicole doesn't know how she can possibly do that without them wanting to know why she needs it. Kayla suggests telling one of them the truth. She gets Nicole the collection kit and wishes her luck. 





After Kayla leaves Sloan approaches Nicole and asks what is in the box she is holding. Nicole explains and the women bicker over how Nicole can get a sample from EJ. Sloan suggests just coming clean but Nicole isn't ready to do that. Sloan offers to get a sample from Eric. Nicole is hesitant but finally relents. As she is about to hand Sloan the collection swab, Eric approaches and asks what they are doing.





At the bistro, Anna calls Nicole to check in while waiting for Tony. She asks her how she is doing and promises that she won't tell anyone about the pregnancy. Anna looks up and realizes that Tony is standing there and quickly ends her call. Tony quizzes her about what he overheard and Anna tries to cover by telling him that she is the one who's pregnant!





Tony is gobsmacked when Anna tells him that she let Rolf test a new fertility treatment he invented on her and that she is expecting. He quickly recovers and tells her how happy he is. Anna starts to panic as he starts making plans for how they will handle her pregnancy, including getting rid of all of the wine in the house so she's not tempted. Eventually Tony asks her who is actually the pregnant one. 





Anna says that she can't tell him because she was sworn to secrecy and Tony figures out that it must be Nicole. Anna begs Tony not to say anything to EJ because Nicole is unsure of who the father is. They are interrupted when Tony gets a call from EJ asking him to join the family for dinner to welcome a family member back into the fold.




EJ finds Megan in the DiMera parlor and questions who she is and why she is in his house. She introduces herself and tells him she is moving into the family home. She reminds him that she will have voting shares in DiMera and can be a valuable ally and he welcomes her home with a champagne toast and plans a family dinner for her.





Stefan and Gabi come home with Kristen and they tell EJ that Kristen is moving back in. Megan comes in and introduces herself and then Tony and Anna arrive. Stefan toasts Kristen and EJ toasts Megan. Before they go to dinner, Tony tells EJ he has something to say to him as Anna looks at him suspiciously.
