Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on May 30, 2023: Bonnie discovers a very pregnant Sarah at Rex's. Xander and Gwen clash over Chloe. Brady asks Chloe to return to work for him at Basic Black. Chad gets ticked off when he finds Alex at Stephanie together. Justin confronts Maggie over her firing Alex from Titan.

Days of Our Lives Episode Recap for May 30, 2023: Alex Gets Two Job Offers

Xander goes to Gwen's room and finds her searching for job candidates. He tells her that he has already hired Chloe for the position and they argue about it. After Xander accuses her of being jealous even though she is sleeping with Alex she admits that Alex broke it off and gives in about hiring Chloe but tells Xander that any issues with it will come out of his profits.

Chloe is at her apartment when Brady shows up. She assumes he is there to warn her about Kristen but he tells her that he's there to offer her a job at Basic Black. He tells her that Nicole is working at DiMera with EJ and he needs her help. Chloe tells him that she already has a job at The Spectator. Brady tries to talk her out of it but she stands firm. Xander comes home and mocks Brady before he leaves unhappily. He tells Chloe that Gwen agreed with hiring her and congratulates her on her new job.

Stephanie and Alex are hanging out and talking about Maggie firing him when Chad arrives and is unhappy when it's Alex who answers the door. He teases Alex about being fired by Maggie and Alex leaves, thanking Stephanie for the beer. Stephanie explains to Chad that she was being a friend to Alex and they talk about Dimitri before making love. After they talk about Dimitri again and Chad tells her that he is coming to Salem and he thinks he wants to destroy the DiMera family. 

Rex is working out in his apartment in Chicago when Bonnie surprises him. She tells him she is there to see Emily but Rex tells her that she is asleep and she should have called first. Bonnie begs to peek in on her and promises not to wake her up. Rex reluctantly agrees and while Bonnie is in the next room, a very pregnant Sarah knocks on his door.

Rex tries to tell her that Bonnie is there but Sarah is so excited about a patient that he can't get a word in edgewise. Bonnie comes out and Sarah tries to hide her baby bump but is unsuccessful. Bonnie immediately assumes the baby is Xander's and lobbies for Gwen to let him be a father but Rex steps in and tells her that the baby is his and Sarah goes along with it. Bonnie doesn't believe them and eventually, Sarah admits the truth but makes it clear to Bonnie that she doesn't want Xander anywhere near the baby and asks her to promise not to tell anyone.

Alex runs into Gwen and tells her that he needs a job. She wishes he had said something earlier because they just hired Chloe. After she walks away Brady approaches him and tells him that he overheard that he needs a job and offers him one at Basic Black. Later Brady sees Gwen and tries to talk to her about Chloe and Xander but she tells him to move on.

Maggie is at home and is surprised to see Justin because she thought he was going to Chicago with Bonnie. Justin tells her that he was going to but he needed to talk to her. He confronts her about firing Alex and Maggie defends her decision and tells him that Victor agrees with her about it. Justin tells her about how much work Alex has been doing to be a better person and asks her to give him one more chance, promising to help keep Alex in line. Maggie reluctantly agrees but when Alex comes home and they share the news with him he tells them that he already has another job, at Basic Black.
