General Hospital Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for May 25, 2023:
Spoilers for General Hospital on May 25, 2023: Kristina and Sam have a frank talk; Nina is determined; TJ confides in Stella; Curtis surprises Portia; and Sonny shares important news.
General Hospital Episode Recap May 25, 2023: Curtis Moves Back Home!
Sonny tells Carly he has news and she tells him that she already knows about the engagement because she saw them at the MetroCourt celebrating. He asks about telling Donna and Carly asks what the rush is. Sonny explains that Avery already knows and he doesn't want Donna to hear it from her. He notices Carly is distracted and she tells him she has a lot on her mind.
Sonny asks if it's the SEC case and tells her that he thinks they are going after her to get to him. She tells him that there is already a deal on the table with the US Attorney. Sonny tells her to take it to save herself and that he can handle anything they try to throw at him. Carly thanks him for his offer but turns him down. Sonny tries to get her to change her mind but she is insistent that she can deal with whatever punishment she gets.
Sonny tells Carly that her going to prison is not an option and if her only choices are that or turning on him, then he wants her to turn on him. She tells him that she could turn on Drew as well but that neither is an option and she will deal with what she did on her own. Donna interrupts them and Carly starts to tell her about Sonny's news but Sonny cuts in and changes the subject before going to make pancakes with Donna.
Nina tells Ava that she has no choice but to do everything she can to make sure the charges stick against Carly and she goes to jail. Ava is dubious about that being the right path but Nina is determined. She says she needs to find a way to do it that can't be traced back to her. Ava tries to talk her out of it but Nina will not be swayed.
Nina thinks that if she can find a way to make Drew think that Carly has turned on him then Drew will turn on Carly and then she will get sent to prison for a long time. Nina thinks that this will save her relationship and make it so she does not have to deal with Carly in her life and her relationships with Sonny and Willow. She knows that she can't be the one to tell Drew and that she needs to find someone he trusts. Nina grins and tells Ava that she knows just the right person to do it.
TJ is surprised when Stella arrives for a visit. He tells her about what is going on with Molly and his frustrations in not being able to help her. Stella tells him that he can't understand what Molly is going through and that it's different for her as a woman. She advises him to let her deal with it in her own way and her own time and just be there as much as he can. She explains it to him from a woman's point of view and TJ thanks her for all of her help.
TJ asks Stella to distract him and asks what brought her back to town. They talk about Curtis and what happened. TJ tells her that it wasn't her fault and that the truth was going to come out either way. Stella tells him that when she heard about Trina's kidnapping. They talk about that and TJ updates her about how everything stands with Trina, Curtis, Portia, and Jordan. Before Stella leaves she tells TJ that love is always worth fighting for.
Molly goes to Alexis's house and tells her and Sam and Kristina about her diagnosis and that it is going to make it impossible for her to carry her own child. Kristina starts to go over all the options she has and Alexis tries to get her to stop but she doesn't until Molly yells at her and storms out.
Alexis goes outside to check on Molly and Kristina expects Sam to rip into her but she doesn't. Sam apologizes to her for raining on her parade when she was excited about her project. Kristina admits that Sam made good points and realizes she just did to Molly what Sam did to her. Outside Alexis and Molly talk about how she is feeling and she confesses to her mother that she feels like a failure.
Sam tells Kristina about the emotions she had when she was having fertility issues and helps her understand what Molly is going through. Outside Alexis assures Molly that isn't her fault but has a hard time convincing her. She advises her daughter to try and stay in the present and Molly tells her about the fight she had with TJ. Alexis tells her that just need time and patience with each other.
Sam and Kristina vow to have Molly's back same as always. Alexis tells Molly that she will help her in any way she can and hugs her as she cries. When Molly comes back in with Alexis Kristina apologizes to her and Molly says she is sorry too. Sam assures her that they are there for her no matter what and they all share a tender moment.
Jordan tells Portia not to thank her because she doesn't know what she's done. Before Portia can tell her Curtis shows up and interrupts them. Portia is called away to deal with a patient and Curtis asks Jordan what he walked in on. She admits she was about to tell Portia about their kiss and he asks her not to. Portia asks him if that's because he still doesn't know what he wants or if he has decided that their kiss doesn't matter.
Before Curtis can answer Anna comes up to them and Curtis goes to talk to Portia. He asks her if they can talk in her office. Anna and Jordan talk vaguely about what is going on with her, Curtis, and Portia. Jordan tells her about the kiss and tells her that she doesn't know what to do or what it means.
Curtis tells Portia that he wants to work on their marriage and that he is going to move back home but into the guest room. Jordan feels the situation is an impossible one for all of them because no matter what someone will be badly hurt. Jordan thanks Anna for listening and Anna asks what she is going to do. Jordan tells her that she's not sure she has a right to fight for Curtis.
