Valentin sacrifices himself and more on General Hospital for May 1, 2023! Learn More Here>>>
On General Hospital for May 1, 2023: Nina meets with Martin; Victor grows suspicious; Obrecht stands her ground; Holly takes a drastic measure; and Anna is determined.
At the Pikeman meeting, the camera is recording as a large crate is brought in. Sonny wants to see what's in it before allowing any more in. They agree and open the crate for Brick's inspection. Brick's shocked when he finds a very powerful plastic explosive inside. Sonny tells the men from Pikeman that he will allow this shipment but only this one until they renegotiate the deal.
Sonny asks Brick to finish up the deal because he has to go meet Nina. Brick agrees and Sonny leaves. The men from Pikeman bring in a briefcase with payment inside and Brick has Dex count it to be sure. Dex makes sure the camera catches everything. When they are alone, Brick asks Dex to close up and warns him not to trust anyone but Sonny, and that includes him. When he's alone Dex gets the camera from its hiding space and transfers its data to his phone.
Nina thanks Martin for meeting with her. They exchange pleasantries about his trip but he wants to know why she wanted to meet. Nina tells him she's having second thoughts about turning Carly and Drew in. Martin tells her that it's too late, it's already been done and can't be taken back. Her hopes are further dashed when he tells her that his contact in the SEC told him that they have already acted on the tip.
Martin tells Nina that Carly has already been brought in for questioning. Before leaving Martin tells Nina that Carly and Drew did the crime and all she did was reported their wrongdoing so she shouldn't feel bad. Nina goes to Sonny's restaurant and he tells her about the wedding before telling her that Willow's wedding day wasn't perfect because the SEC showed up to take Carly in for questioning.
Nina's horrified that her actions ruined her daughter's wedding day and then Sonny tells her that they're still looking for Drew. Nina's confused about why he wasn't at the wedding and Sonny tells her that he went on a rescue mission to save Obrecht so she can get back in time for Willow's transplant. Nina tries to cover her guilt as Sonny tells her that whoever turned them in, didn't just hurt Carly and Drew, they hurt Willow as well.
Carly goes back to the Quartermaine's and her and Michael talk about their suspicions about Ned being the one to turn her and Drew in. She fills him and Willow in on what happened and how Sonny helped to throw the SEC off of Drew's tail. Willow thinks it means that he still cares about them but Michael is unmoved. Carly tells him they need to focus on the future and offers to bring Willow back to the gatehouse while he finishes dealing with the wedding aftermath.
After Michael's gone, Carly assures Willow that they're all going to be fine because they're going to face everything as a family. Out in the hall, Michael receives a text from Dex with the video file from the meeting attached.
Holly and Anna discuss the plan to keep the WSB out of things when Scotty comes in and confronts them about putting Liesl in danger. Robert shows up and they all try to explain that he doesn't understand what's going on but he refuses to listen. He tells them that if they don't contact the WSB then he will! Holly knocks him out with a drugged handkerchief before he can make the call and they decide that they need to go to Greenland to help with the rescue operation because their friends don't know what they're walking into.
Anna tells them that she's going as well and gets up to get dressed. Holly and Robert question if she's up to it but she is determined that nothing will stop her from going. Anna and Holly tell Robert that he has to stay to deal with Scotty and the WSB. He doesn't like it but agrees to stay behind while they go.
When the patrol guards are alerted to the presence of outsiders by the ringing of the sat phone Valentin acts quickly to protect the rest of the mission. He reveals himself to the guards and tells them that he's Victor's son.
Victor checks in with Liesl for an update on her progress but is disappointed when she tells him that she simply can not do what he needs her to do in their current location. He admits that they may have to move but they are interrupted by the patrol guards radioing him about Valentin. Victor demands that his son be brought to him immediately.
Drew and Curtis plot how to rescue the hostage and Laura comes up with a plan. She wants Curtis to go get the hostages off the Haunted Star while she acts as a diversion for Victor. Drew and Curtis are hesitant but finally agree that it's the best idea. Laura fakes an injury and draws the attention of a guard patrol, setting them up for Curtis and Drew to attack them. Drew steals one of their uniforms and puts Laura's wrists in a zip tie to pretend that she's his prisoner and Curtis takes off for the Haunted Star.
At the lab in the bunker, Liesl tells Victor that she will not test anything on Spencer and Trina because they're innocent. He offers her what he calls a not-so-innocent alternative test subject as Valentin is brought in!
