GH Recap for May 2, 2023: Valentin Is Infected!

General Hospital recap for May 2, 2023:

On General Hospital for May 2, 2023: Valentin makes an offer; Marshall consoles Portia; Robert runs interference; Josslyn and Dex are hopeful; and Willow is in for a shock.

Portia is looking at a picture of her and Trina when Marshall comes in to check on her. She tells him about the call from Trina and tells him that Curtis is part of the rescue mission. Marshall assures her that there is nothing Curtis won't do to save Trina and promises to stay with her until everyone is safe.

Robert leaves a message for Diane to call him as he watches over a snoring Scotty. When Liz wants to come in to check on Anna, Robert stops her outside and tries to stall her. Finally, he tells her that it's a confidential issue and he needs her to trust him. He had no idea that inside the room Scotty has come to and used the room phone to call the WSB.

Liz agrees to give Robert some time just as a WSB agent shows up and barges into the room. Scotty tells him that Robert knocked him out to keep him from telling the WSB about a biological weapon. Robert tells Scotty that he's just caused the death of the woman he loves.

Dex arrives at Joss's dorm room and they end up in bed. After she tells him about the wedding and how awkward it was with Kristina. She tells him about the SEC showing up and that they're looking for Drew. He asks her how Drew evaded them and she tells him what Sonny did.

Dex tells her that they got the information to take Sonny down and that Michael has it. She says that it's going to hurt Sonny's other kids but that he is the one who caused it all. She's worried about Dex being in trouble too but he is confident that he can cut a deal and that they can finally be free from all of this.

At the gatehouse, Michael and Willow share a romantic moment when he carries her over their threshold. After they talk about the wedding and she tries to get him to see he should reconcile with Sonny. Michael shows her the video that Dex sent him and explains Sonny's business with Pikeman. Willow is surprised that Sonny is involved with things like that.

She asks Michael where he got the video and he confesses that he hired Dex to help him bring down Sonny. He tells her that he's going to turn it over to the authorities and then Sonny will go to jail for the rest of his life and be out of theirs. Willow gets upset as she asks about his siblings and ends up passing out.

Onboard the Haunted Star a guard takes Trina to her room while two others prepare to beat Spencer up for fighting them. Curtis interrupts and pretends to be another guard. Spencer is able to give him directions to where Trina is being held and after Curtis leaves, the guards proceed to beat Spencer up. Curtis knocks out the man guarding Trina and goes into her room.

Trina is thrilled to see Curtis and wants to help him save Spencer and his brother. Curtis is reluctant but finally agrees to let her come. She creates a distraction while Curtis attacks one of the guards on Spencer. He loses his gun in the struggle but is able to knock him out before the remaining guard rushes him!

In the bunker, Victor has Valentin brought in and tells Liesl that she can test the pathogen and vaccine on him. He explains his plans to Valentin who is horrified by what his father is going to do. Valentin offers to join him in helping solve the climate crisis in non-lethal ways if he'll abandon his plan but Victor is resolute.

Victor tells Valentin that he is going to be injected with the pathogen and if he answers their questions he will also receive the antidote. He watches through a window as Valentin is strapped into a chair and instructs Liesl to inject him with the pathogen. She begs him to reconsider but Victor refuses to budge. She apologizes as she injects Valentin with the pathogen. Victor asks Valentin who came with him and when he refuses to answer Victor tells his son that he is sealing his fate. Valentin asks how long it'll take him to die just as his nose begins to bleed!
