GH Recap for May 4, 2023: Anna And Holly To The Rescue!

On General Hospital for May 4, 2023: Spencer and Trina are alarmed; Carly supports Michael; Willow has a choice to make; Felicia goes to bat for a loved one; and Nina tries to distract Sonny.

Sonny sits with Nina at Kelly's and tells her that he's working on finding out who turned Carly and Drew in and tells her that his DC contacts will come through for him. Nina suggests that they should take that getaway to the island that he was talking about.

Joss and Dex are watching a movie at her dorm when she turns it off because she can't make herself relax with everything going on. They talk and Dex asks her if she's having second thoughts about the plan to turn Sonny in. She tells him that she's not but she wants it to be over so they can be free and be together. Sonny calls Dex and asks him to get a plane ready for him and Nina to go away.

Joss gets a call from Carly about Willow being in the hospital and they leave her dorm together. Dex goes to Kelly's and tells Sonny and Nina about Willow being in the hospital. Sonny tells him to cancel the plane and takes Nina to see about her daughter.

At the hospital, TJ explains to Michael and Carly that Willow is running out of time. He tells Michael that he can take her home and hospice will keep her comfortable until she passes away or she can stay in the hospital and they can treat her for as long as they can to try to buy time but it will be painful for her. He tells Michael that he has to decide because she's unconscious.

Michael goes to Willows's room to think and Carly thanks TJ. He compliments her for how much she's supporting Michael and says that he's lucky to have her. When Joss gets there Carly updates her and Joss admits that she's scared. They talk about the SEC issue and Carly says she is shocked that Ned would do it now when Willow is so sick. She blames herself for the entire situation but Joss reminds her that she was trying to help Michael and Drew. Joss gets a call from Dex letting her know that Sonny and Nina are on their way just as they arrive at the hospital.

In Willow's room, Michael holds her hand as he thinks back on their happier times. She wakes up and he tells her what they're facing. At first, she says she wants to go home but then changes her mind and says that she'll stay. She says that if Drew is risking his life to save her then she owes it to him to fight.

Robert demands that the WSB agent let him talk to the director but he refuses and drags him toward the elevator. Diane and Jordan step off of it and Diane makes it clear that he needs to release Robert or end up explaining himself to a judge. The agent takes the handcuffs off of him and goes around the corner to talk with Diane as Jordan, Robert, and Felicia discuss the impending drone strike on the island.

On the Haunted Star, Curtis tells Trina and Spencer to get themselves and Ace to the seaplane while he helps the others. He and Trina share a touching goodbye before he leaves. Trina goes to get another blanket for Ace and the nanny shows up and demands Spencer hand the baby over to her. Trina bashes her over the head before she can radio for help. Before they leave Trina gets the sat phone and calls Jordan. Jordan tells them to get out of there as soon as they can because a drone strike is coming to bomb the island.

At the bunker on the island, Laura threatens to drop the vial and kill them all to save everyone else. Victor tries to talk her out of it but she does it anyway. After the vial breaks Victor reveals that the pathogen is ineffective until it's exposed to sunlight. Elsewhere in the bunker, Valentin continues to be tormented by his hallucination of Helena who continues to mock and belittle him.

In the lab, they suddenly hear gunfire and an explosion blows the door off! Anna bursts in with her gun drawn! A fight ensues and Victor escapes with Liesl and the pathogen after shooting Laura in the arm. Just as a guard is about to shoot Anna, Curtis arrives and shoots him!

Anna asks where Valentin is and Laura tells her about Victor infecting him. Anna leaves to rescue him and Curtis tries to get Laura to leave with him but she stops when a computer making noise catches her attention. She tells Curtis that it's like the one that controlled Mikkos's weather machine 40 years ago!

Valentin tells hallucination Helena that there's only one woman he trusts with his life just as he sees Anna appear behind the glass. Outside Victor is forcing Liesl toward the Haunted Star when Holly stops them at gunpoint and tells him that he's lost, again.
