The Young and the Restless recap for May 1, 2023:



In today's episode of The Young and the Restless: Ashley and Billy do damage control against Diane, Victoria and Nate mix business with pleasure, and Michael crosses the line to help a client.

 

Ashley is already dressed for work when Tucker intends to serve her breakfast in bed. She advises him to get up early next time. Jack enters as she heads to work, and Tucker welcomes him and offers him a cup of coffee. Jack questions why he is there. Tucker reassures him that not everything is about him, despite the fact that he thinks Ashley invited him to move in as payback to Jack. Jack threatens him that he will pay a price in hell if he ever again takes advantage of or harms his sister again.

Ashley arrives at Jabot. She sees Billy. She advises him to take action before the Jack and Diane show fully destroys the company because Diane is Jack's main priority. Billy believes Ashley is exaggerating. Before it's too late, says Ashley, they must take whatever steps are necessary to protect the company. Ashley informs a very displeased Billy that she invited Tucker to move in. 

In LA, Nate stares at a picture of Elena. He texts Victoria, "Found a table downstairs. See you soon." Victoria replies telling that she's on her way. As she arrives, he compliments her look and they sit to talk about the back-to-back meetings that they will have. They go over the agenda to ensure they are on the same page. They also flirt with each other a bit. Victoria wants to go to her room and Nate suggests going with her. As they get there, they kiss and make out and make love. 

Jack arrives at Society and meets with Michael for an update. They strategize on how to get Diane released. While Jack hates what is happening between him and Ashley, his top priority is saving Diane and bringing her home. 

Ashley meets with Tucker at Society. She is disappointed to see Jack there. He says he and Jack had a very deep meaningful heart-to-heart at the house. He thinks he made a few inroads with him. They kiss and leave to go to Tucker's suite. 

Elena meets with Audra at Crimson Lights for Breakfast. She regrets having doubted Nate in the first place and is convinced that they are back on track. She continues to talk about how Nate advised her to choose a destination for their trip when he returns. Nate had told her he was going on the business trip alone, but Audra reveals that he actually went with Victoria. Elena is miffed that Nate lied to her face, and Audra's explanation of what happened doesn't help. Nate has been actively attempting to ruin their relationship, according to Audra. Elena claims that Nate was prepared to turn against his own family in order to achieve his goals, and it was only a matter of time before he betrayed her too. Noting that the circumstances have changed, Elena says it's time they find J.T. Hellstrom.
