The Young and the Restless Recap for May 26, 2023:






In today's episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon receives a cryptic message, Sally and Chloe pursue a new venture, and Summer makes a pact with Phyllis.






Meeting Sally at the GCAC, Chloe is disappointed she has dressed up for nothing. Sally offers her some motivation. Lily and Devon arrive, and Lily is disappointed that their designs will not help them. Chloe lies about being too busy. Lily and Devon leave. Sally claims they are not to fault for Jill's postponement. Chloe advises her to get accustomed to her children's grandfather poking his nose everywhere. Chloe wonders if she should have let Nick assist them. Sally is not convinced. She wishes to absolve Chloe of any responsibility. She cares too much about her to continually disappoint her. Chloe will not allow her. She's staying and believes they have skill and tenacity. Sally comes up with a plan.







Devon and Lily sit in the lounge. She tells him about a recent family dinner she attended. They discuss Daniel and the death of Phyllis. Sally and Chloe make an appearance. They suggest redesigning their workplace. Not just with a color shift, but also with aromatherapy. Lily is aware that they are preoccupied with other clientele. They can get rid of them, according to Chloe. Lily asks when they can start. Chloe and Sally promise they won't regret it. Sally and Chloe exclaim how grateful they are to be able to accomplish this. Lily wonders when it will be finished. Before she leaves, Lily gives Sally some advice about motherhood. 



The Young and the Restless Recap for May 26, 2023:





Chance stops by Crimson Lights for a cup of coffee.  Sharon believes he has new evidence and is getting closer to cracking the case. He notes that all he needs is time and the test results, and he believes he will be able to solve the crime.



Nick observes Christine while she works late. He predicts that it will be a long time before they recover from the loss of Phyllis. She swears that justice will be served. He enters the coffee house, and Chance walks by him to visit Christine. Sharon informs him that she has disposed of the champagne. Sharon reads a postcard from Colorado. She is stunned. Nick inquires as to what is wrong, and she shows him the postcard. It's written in the same style as the card from the bottle of champagne. Cameron Kirsten, she believes, is sending her these items. He's playing with her, having his twisted fun before moving in for the kill. She begins to doubt herself, and Nick begs her to include Chance in the conversation.








Chance informs Christine that he may have discovered evidence that Phyllis is still alive. He goes into great depth about what he discovered. Christine claims she owes him and she expresses gratitude to Chance for his hard work on this case. She walks away, and Nick emerges, asking him to come inside when he has a moment. Chance enters, and Sharon informs him that there is a man who did something horrific to her and others, and she believes he has contacted her again.







Phyllis refers to Summer as her "secret weapon." Summer admits that she and Daniel felt terrible about what they said to her. It's difficult for her to maintain this secret, and she's afraid she'll be prosecuted. 






Phyllis is well aware that she upends people's lives. She'll spend every day attempting to make amends, but she returned since she witnessed how much anguish she was in during the memorial. Phyllis admits she was present, which puts everything in perspective. Summer is surprised. Phyllis claims she was alone and vulnerable, and Stark used her by pushing her emotions and manipulating her. He persuaded her to stage her death and frame Diane. Phyllis is annoyed that her daughter is assisting and abetting her, but Summer wants to help. Phyllis requests that she return home and care for her family while remaining uninvolved. Summer believes it is too late. Phyllis believes she's going to prison and does not want her child to accompany her. Summer will not allow her. She'll shower her with affection and assist her in every way she can.





 


Cameron Kirsten enters a hotel and receives a key card from the front desk.  Cameron glances around, fiddling with the card.
