Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on June 22, 2023: Sarah is shocked to learn Bonnie told Justin her secret. Xander attempts to catch up with Justin. Belle and Brady catch up on recent events. Chad and Stephanie are stunned when Maggie offers him a job.

Days of Our Lives Episode Recap June 22, 2023: Bonnie Has Bad News For Sarah

Brady warns Alex that they can't underestimate Maggie and that she's more than just a business competitor, she's also family. Belle arrives with Alex's employment contract and tells Brady that she needs to talk to him. Alex signs it and leaves them alone to talk. Belle tells Brady that she's worried because they haven't heard anything from Kristen regarding Rachel. 

They both think she's up to something and want to find out what it is. Brady is happy that she won't be going after Chloe this time since she's living with Xander now. Belle confides in him about Shawn's drinking. Brady offers to talk to him and Belle thanks him but declines, for now.

Chad is shocked by Maggie's job offer for the number two position at Titan. He tells her that he is working for Stephanie but that he will think about it. Stephanie shares with her that she and Chad are moving in together and Maggie congratulates them. Before she leaves she tells Chad to let her know as soon as he can. After she leaves they resume dinner and talk about the job offer. Chad is flattered and thinks the offer is a good one. He isn't happy that Stephanie's main objection is that it will hurt Alex. She explains what she meant and he understands. After dinner, they start looking at real estate listings together.

Alex is in the Square, checking in with Sonny. He talks to him about his new job and assures him that he doesn't regret turning down Maggie's offer to reinstate him. Later he is drinking a beer when Maggie approaches and gleefully tells him that she offered Chad his old job and that Stephanie and Chad are moving in together.

Justin tries to get away from Xander and Chloe but Xander wants to chat with him. Justin tries to tell him that there's nothing new going on in his life but Xander pushes. Finally, Justin tells Xander that there is something he needs to know. He remembers his promise to Bonnie and just tells Xander about Alex going to work at Basic Black. Xander is confused that Justin thought that was important news and shares his concerns about Bonnie acting weird with him. 

Justin tells him that it was just Bonnie being Bonnie and goes to get her soup so he can get it home to her. After he leaves Xander asks Chloe if she thought Justin was acting weird but she thinks he is just worried about his sick wife. Later when Xander and Chloe are back at their apartment they are kissing on the couch and Xander asks her if she wants to sleep alone. Chloe tells him that she's not over Brady enough to take that step and he confides that he still has feelings for Sarah as well. They agree to take things slow and settle in to watch a movie.

Sarah goes to Rex's apartment and she is freaking out about the voicemail she got from Bonnie. Rex calms her down and suggests that she call Bonnie back and talk to her. Sarah is relieved when Bonnie tells her that she did not tell Xander about the baby but confesses she did tell Justin. She assures Sarah that Justin won't say anything but encourages her to tell Xander the truth. 

Sarah is shocked when Bonnie tells her that Chloe and Xander are a couple and living together but Bonnie thinks Xander would end it with Chloe if he knew about the baby. After she is done talking with Bonnie, Sarah tells Rex that Xander has moved on and she wants to as well before kissing him. He breaks off their kiss and tells her that he wants her but doesn't want it to be about Xander. When Justin gets home he tells Bonnie about his encounter with Xander and warns her that eventually the secret will come out.

A sad musical montage played at the end with Alex thinking about making love to Stephanie while she enjoyed house hunting with Chad, Xander and Sarah thinking about each other, Chloe and Brady thinking about each other, and Belle coming home and finding another empty liquor bottle that Shawn left on the floor.
