Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for June 29, 2023: Chloe Finally Gets Xander's Big Stick 





Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on June 29, 2023: Wendy and Tripp’s date gets interrupted by Johnny. Leo voices his objections to Dimitri. Chloe and Xander talk about moving on from past relationships. Sloan makes a confession to Colin.





Days of Our Lives Episode Recap June 29, 2023: Chloe Finally Gets Xander's Big Stick 





Nicole wants to know why Eric is at the mansion and he tells her that he came to check on her after hearing the news about Abe. Nicole had not heard yet so Eric has to tell her that Abe died. Nicole is devastated by the loss of the man who was like a father to her and Eric comforts her as she processes Abe's death. 






Nicole thanks Eric for coming over but isn't thrilled to find out that it was Sloan's idea. They talk about his plans to have a baby with Sloan. Nicole has a pain that worries Eric and he wants to go find EJ but she tells him that EJ is out of town and she doesn't know where he is or when he will be back. Eric is worried that EJ is abandoning Nicole and the baby but Nicole tells him that isn't what is going on. She has another pain and Eric brings her to the hospital.






Sloan goes to see Colin at the Salem PD. She tells him about Abe's death and he is happy. Sloan is disgusted by his reaction and Colin tells her that he likes anything that brings Paulina and Chanel pain and this does. She admits to her brother that she is a hypocrite and did something recently. He presses her for details and Sloan confesses to giving Nicole her DNA instead of Eric's. She tells her brother the baby could still be EJ's but she's not sure. She also shares that she is going to make it up to Eric by giving him a baby that is definitely his.





Chloe and Xander talk about his run-in with Dimitri and his feelings for Gwen. He assures her that he cares for Gwen because of everything they went through but doesn't have any romantic feelings for her and there is nothing to worry about. Chloe tells him about her talk with Nicole and then they kiss. Things get more passionate and Xander asks if she's ready to take the next step. Chloe says that she is and they make love. After they both agree that they have no regrets before making love again. 





Leo berates Dimitir for a lame marriage proposal with no ring. Dimitri tells him that he is right and kneels down, pulling a ring box out of his pocket and proposing to Gwen again. She and Leo are both shocked at the size of the diamond ring and Gwen doesn't know what to say. Leo expresses his doubts about Dimitri's sincerity and he does his best to make Leo feel better about his intentions. Finally, Leo grudgingly gives them his blessing but Gwen is not sure of her decision yet. Dimitri asks her to go to Stefan and Gabi's engagement party that night and she agrees. 





Wendy and Tripp continue their date with dinner and talk about Abe and the effect his death will have on Tripp's family. They are sharing a kiss when Johnny arrives hoping to still take Wendy out. She is turning him down when Tripp gets called into work to cover for another doctor. 






Johnny looks on uncomfortably as Wendy and Tripp kiss goodbye and then asks Wendy if he can take her out for dessert since she already had dinner. Johnny and Wendy are in the Square, sharing an ice cream sundae when Dimitri comes out of the Inn and approaches them. Johnny introduces him to Wendy and Dimitri invites them to the engagement party. Johnny isn't planning on going but changes his mind when Wendy says that she wants to go.
