Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for June 8, 2023, 2023: Colin Tries To Bargain For His Freedom





Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on June 8, 2023: Chanel panics when she learns Paulina is missing. Paulina confronts Colin, who claims to know where Abe is. Whitley keeps Abe cut off from the outside world. Jada and Sloan discuss their respective siblings’ legal woes. Johnny explains to Wendy why he stood her up.





Days of Our Lives Episode Recap for June 8, 2023: Colin Tries To Bargain For His Freedom






Johnny and Chanel are having coffee in the square and talking about their all-night questioning at the Salem PD. They also talk about Talia and Chanel gets upset when Johnny seems to be defending her. She tells him that she will never forgive her for what she did. Johnny tells Chanel that he needs to check in with Wendy and let her know what happened because his phone died and he never called or texted her. He is about to leave when Chanel gets a call from Julie telling her that Paulina checked out of the hospital against medical advice.






Talia has a nightmare that Colin has come back for revenge and wakes up scared. Jada is getting ready for work and talks to her about how she's doing. Talia confesses that she doesn't understand why she still cares about Colin and Jada tells her again that she thinks she was in an abusive relationship. She tells Talia that she should go to Marlena for counseling and that she is there for her no matter what.





At the Salem PD, Paulina goes into the interrogation room and demands that Colin tell her where Abe is. Rafe comes in and asks why she is there and then Sloan comes in and demands to know why they are talking to her client without his lawyer. Colin tells them that he will lead them to Abe if they let him go. Sloan wants to talk to him in private so Rafe and Paulina leave the room. Sloan demands that her brother tell her the truth about Abe.





Paulina and Rafe are talking about Abe when Sloan comes out and tells them that Colin doesn't know where he is. Rafe gets a call from Chanel reporting her mother missing and Rafe tells her that Paulina is with him and asks her to come pick her up and bring her back to the hospital. Jada comes in and she and Rafe talk about the case. They agree that she will book Colin and he will go talk to Nurse Whitley to see if she knows anything. After Rafe leaves Jada and Sloan talk about their worries about the trouble that their siblings are in.





Tripp makes Wendy breakfast and makes digs at Johnny for standing her up the night before. Wendy calls him out on it and he backs off. Johnny shows up and wants to explain. Wendy isn't happy with him but agrees to talk to him in private. He tells her what happened and she isn't happy that he didn't find another way to get in touch with her after his phone died but she understands and agrees to give him another shot at a dinner date. 





Abe wants to watch TV so Whitley unplugs the cable and tells him she didn't pay the bill. She spins a tale about him being retired with no pension and tells him that she has to go to work but he can watch her favorite soap opera on VCR tapes she recorded. She warns him not to answer the door even if it is a police officer because the man who attacked him is posing as one. After she leaves Abe is startled when Rafe knocks on the door and announces that he is the police.






Chanel gets Paulina settled back into the hospital and assures her that they are going to find Abe. In the hall, she runs into Talia. Talia apologizes for everything again Chanel tells her to stay away from her and her mother. Whitley is surprised when she goes into her patient's room and finds out that it's Paulina!
