General Hospital Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for June 1, 2023: Dex Teaches Spencer A Different Lesson!
Spoilers for General Hospital on June 1, 2023: Anna is in the hot seat; Valentin surprises Laura; Austin and Ava are interrupted; Jordan hides her disappointment; and Trina and Joss conspire.
Joss and Trina arrive at the pool where Spencer is waiting for them. They all joke around and when Joss walks away Spencer says that the only thing missing is Cameron. Trina asks him to not make it weird and he promises he won't but points at Dex, who is kissing Joss, and says that he might. Dex is worried that Spencer will not welcome him into their group but Joss is insistent that he join them. Trina warns Spencer to be nice before Dex and Joss come over to them.
Dex offers Spencer his hand to shake on a truce. Spencer acts like a jerk when he shakes his hand. After Dex and Joss leave to get drinks for everyone, Trina rips into Spencer and tells him to let it go. She reminds him that he needs to stay out of trouble if he ever wants to get guardianship of Ace. Trina tells him that Cam is happy at Stanford and that Joss is happy with Dex and deserves to be happy.
When Dex and Joss come back with the drinks Dex apologizes for punching him. Spencer admits that he deserved it for trying to punch him first. Dex offers to teach him to block and Spencer takes him up on it. Joss and Trina laugh happily together as they watch them. Later Trina and Spencer kiss in the pool while Joss and Dex talk. She thanks him for being nice to Spencer. Dex tells her that he wants her friends to like him. She tells him that she likes him.
Dex and Joss talk about Willow and she tells him about the fight with Michael. He tells her he wants to help and she asks if they can talk in private. In the pool, Trina thanks Spencer for making an effort. He tells her that he did it for her. He tells her that if she wants to talk about the test results he is there and she confides in him that she is wondering if getting the test was the right choice.
Trina tells him that she knows it was the right decision but she misses how her family used to be. They talk about what Victor left him and Trina asks him if he has opened the safety deposit box. Spencer says that he doesn't want to but Trina gets out of the pool and tells him they are going to do it right now. Joss tells Dex about the trouble Carly is in and tells him that she wants to use the tape of Sonny to get her out of it.
Portia offers to make Curtis breakfast before she goes to work but he tells her that he can do it himself. Stella surprises them when she shows up to talk to Curtis. She tells him that Marshall called her and told her about the paternity test results and she wanted to be there for Curtis and to fix things between them. Portia leaves them alone to talk and they go over everything that happened and why Stella acted the way she did. Stella apologizes and asks Curtis to forgive her.
Curtis tells her that he does forgive her and they talk about the paternity results and how it will affect everyone. She asks about him and Portia and he tells her that he moved back because of the kiss with Jordan. He says that it made him realize he wanted to give his marriage a chance but admits he hasn't told Jordan that he moved back home yet. Stella tells him that he has to talk to Jordan and he has to do it now.
Jordan brings TJ coffee at work and they talk about what is going on with him and Molly. He is worried about their relationship because she didn't come home the night before. Jordan attempts to comfort him but Molly shows up and she leaves them to talk. They both apologize for their fight and agree to try to communicate better. Jordan is on the phone checking for information on Anna when Portia approaches her and asks if she has seen Taggert.
Jordan tells Portia that she hasn't and Portia tells her that he needs a friend. Jordan figures out that the paternity tests must have come in and that Curtis is Trina's father. Portia is concerned for Taggert and is worried about how he is doing. She asks Jordan to check in with him and Jordan promises she will. She asks Portia how Curtis is handling the news.
TJ is angry at Molly's former doctors for not helping her earlier and apologizes for it. She tells him that now that she has told everyone about her diagnosis, she knows that she's not alone and she knows they will find a way to have a baby together. Portia tells Jordan that Stella is back and tells her that Curtis moved back home to work on their marriage.
At WSB headquarters Anna learns that her file has been leaked to the press and everyone knows that she was a double agent all those years ago. Martin is let in to be her lawyer. He tells her that Valentin called him. Agent Hursely tells her that she is being charged with treason. Martin asks to speak to her alone and fills her in on everything that's been happening with the leak. She tells him the accusations are true and she did everything she has been accused of and asks how she can defend herself against the truth.
Anna tells Martin how everything went down in her past. Martin tells her that the public won't care about the good she has done now that everything else has been leaked. Anna says that the WSB is charging her to cover their own asses. Martin agrees and they argue about how to proceed. Martin calls Agent Hursley back in to talk to them and Martin asks why they did this after her years of loyalty and good work.
Hurslsey tells him that they have no choice now that the public knows she was never punished for her crimes. She reminds him that the agency knew about her past but he tells her that the new director is not willing to let it go. He tells her that if she disputes the charges the WSB will look into Robert and her other WSB-connected friends and loved ones.
Anna tells him that she might have information about more embarrassing things the WSB has been involved in and if anything happens to her or anyone she cares about she is taking the entire agency down with her. The agent backs down and leaves the room. Martin asks what just happened and Anna tells him that she is no longer a WSB agent and never will be again.
Valentin arrives at Laura's to pick up what Victor left for Charlotte. They talk about Anna's arrest and Valentin tells her that Victor was behind the leak of the files. Laura gives him the necklace and he sees that it has the Cassadine crest on it. They talk about what it meant to each of them. Laura asks him about the property in Chechnya and Valentin tells her that he has been there.
Laura tells him that she thinks Nikolas might be hiding out there. Valentin warns her against going there because it's in a dangerous area but she is determined. He tells her that if she is going then he will go with her. Laura is touched by his offer and promises to keep him informed of her plans and not go without him.
