Spoilers for General Hospital on June 16, 2023: Cody seeks Sam’s help. Olivia weighs an important decision. Sasha checks in on Willow. The Quartermaines are left reeling.




General Hospital Episode Recap June 16, 2023: Ned Wakes Up As Eddie Maine!





Liz finds Finn playing backgammon by himself in the breakroom at GH. She sits down and plays with him and wins. They talk about her new job as head nurse starting the next day and he is supportive when she worries that she won't be able to fill the shoes the previous head nurses left. They flirt and play another game before she has to get back to work. After she leaves Finn happily comments to himself that the tide is turning. 





Alexis and Diane meet for coffee because Diane needs advice about a new client. Alexis advises her and admits how much she misses practicing law and wants to go back to it. They talk about Alexis hiring Esme and why and Diane tries to talk her into going to various workout classes with her. Alexis turns her down before heading back to work.





Cody calls Sam and asks her to meet him at the stables because he needs help. When she gets there he tells her that he needs her help exposing Gladys and proving she set him up. Sam grumbles about it but agrees to help him. She wants him to reveal what he is keeping from her about Gladys but he refuses. She thinks there might be another way to prove he didn't steal the bracelet and over Cody's objections, calls Spinelli. 





Sasha goes to visit Willow in her isolation room. Willow can tell that she's been crying and Sasha tells her that they were happy tears because she had just read the letter Nina had written in support of her ending the guardianship and it moved her. Willow is happy for her taking control of her own life but doesn't to hear Sasha cheerlead for Nina. Sasha persists and encourages Willow to forgive Nina and forge a bond with her. As they are talking about forgiveness Sasha remembers her talk with Cody.





Michael calls Dex to check in on Sonny's situation and asks him to keep him updated. Chase comes by the check on him and Willow and they catch up. Chase tells him about fixing his relationship with Brook Lynn and they discuss Tracy and the Quartermaine family dynamics. They also talk about Chase's plans for kids someday. Michael tells him about how stressed he is with trying to juggle everything and how sad he is that Willow is missing so much with the kids. Chase assures him that she will be home soon and be healthy and they will have a good life together. Before he leaves to go back to Brook Lynn, Michael tells Chase he thinks he'll be a great Dad someday.





TJ explains the process of waking Ned up to Olivia, Brook Lynn, and Tracy. He tells them that it can take a while and turns off the medication keeping him asleep. The three women wait with Ned and bicker as they wait for him to wake up. When he starts to come to, TJ comes back in and examines him. He asks him questions to determine his condition and they are all encouraged when Ned knows what year it is and what town they are in. Their smiles all turn to shock though when he tells them that his name is not Ned, it's Eddie Maine!
