General Hospital Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for June 20, 2023: Taggert's Back At The PCPD





Spoilers for General Hospital on June 20, 2023:Ava is the voice of reason. Drew confers with Sam. Liz offers counsel to Portia. TJ opens up to Alexis. Jordan receives a surprise visitor.





General Hospital Episode Recap June 20, 2023: Taggert's Back At The PCPD 





Nina and Ava meet up for a run and Ava asks Nina how telling Sonny the truth went. Nina confesses that she didn't tell him and tells her about Ned's memory issues. Ava warns her that eventually Ned will get his memory back and she will be in even more trouble but Nina doesn't think it will be a problem. She thinks there's a good chance that even if Ned gets his memory back, he won't remember the time around the accident. The women decide to go for coffee instead of a run.





Carly and Drew are walking toward Sonny's door and Carly tries, once again, to talk him out of the plea deal. He tells her that his mind is made up and that it is the best thing for everyone. They kiss and he goes to talk to Sam while she goes to talk to Sonny. Carly tells Sonny about the deal Drew is going to make and Sonny is relieved she won't go to jail. He updates her about Ned's condition and they talk about it until Nina and Ava walk in. 





Carly leaves quickly and Sonny tells Nina and Ava about the deal Drew is making to keep Carly out of prison. He tells Nina that the plumber was able to find her ring and holds it up happily. Nina offers to walk Ava out while Sonny talks to Frank. In the hall, Nina rages about Carly not going to jail but Ava tells her that it might be better for her if Sonny does eventually find out the truth. Later Sonny puts Nina's engagement ring back on her finger and she promises to never take it off again.





Drew goes to Sam and Dante's penthouse. Alexis is there as well. Drew tells them all about the plea deal he is making and Sam is furious. Alexis leaves and Dante goes to do the dishes so they can talk alone and Drew tries to convince Sam that it's the best thing for everyone. She is upset that he is leaving their daughter by choice but knows it hurts him to do it. Carly comes over after she leaves Sonny's so Sam can unleash on her if she wants to. Sam tells her that she hates it but knows that it was Drew's choice. Carly tells her that she tried to talk him out of it.





Drew doesn't want to say anything to Scout until everything is finalized and he thanks Dante for helping Sam take care of her. Carly and Drew go for a walk in the park and talk about what is going to happen. He promises everything will be ok and says he wants to make the most of the time they have left before he goes away. They share a kiss. Sam and Dante cuddle on their couch and talk about ways to make it all easier on Scout.





Molly and TJ meet with Dr. Navarro about freezing Molly's eggs before she starts her treatment so that surrogacy is an option for them. She sets up the tests and they talk about the things they want to find in a surrogate. TJ updates Alexis while Molly is having her tests and then later TJ and Molly are about to leave when Dr. Navarro runs into them in the hall and says the test results are back.





Liz talks to Epiphany's picture before starting her first shift as head nurse. She overhears Amy asking Portia why she slept in the on-call room and sends her to check on a patient before offering Portia a listening ear. Portia tells her what she found out and how she is questioning her relationship with Curtis. Liz listens and advises her to talk to Curtis and see if there is anything save. Later Liz overhears Amy talking about Ned's condition with Alexis and has a talk with her about patient confidentiality.





Taggert goes to see Jordan in her office and asks her if there is an opening at the PCPD for a detective. He tells her that he is tired of traveling and wants to settle back in Port Charles but he needs a job. Jordan talks to him about the situation with Trina and assures him that she will always be his daughter. She tells Taggert about her promotion and offers him the job of Police commissioner. After Taggert leaves, Portia arrives to confront her about Curtis.
