The Young and the Restless alum, Brett Hadley dies at 92. Hadley portrayed tough cop Carl Williams on the CBS daytime drama from 1980 to 1990 and again from 1998 to 1999.
Hadley was born on September 25, 1930, in Louisville, Kentucky, and later attended the University of New Mexico, where he studied acting. He has a lengthy record of guest-starring parts on prime-time TV series and in films such as The Mad Bomber, Funny Lady, and Next of Kin. Hadley first appeared on the serial in 1980, when then-Head Writer William J. Bell enlarged Paul Williams' family to include Carl and Carl's very devout wife, Mary, portrayed by Carolyn Conwell, who died in 2012.
We extend our condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
